Story
Augie is a smart and intelligent dog. He suffers from fear-aggression. He has been trained but unfortunately does not get along wirh children and needs time to adapt to new people. He is house and crate trained. We recommend Augie for a single person or a couple that does not have children. When new people come to visit he stays in a bedroom. Whoever wants him needs to be a committed person that will dedicate him time at least for the first week so he can get used to you.We had a baby, and since he doesn't get along with children, unfortunately he has made his first sketchy moves toward our child and we don't want to risk anything.

Story
Granger is a gorgeous Aussie mix with soulful eyes and a heart made for one lucky family. Healthy and full of life, she loves belly rubs, car rides, chasing her fly toy, and being brushed. Storms, fireworks, snow — nothing fazes this confident girl. She’s whip-smart: knows all her commands, heels on cue, walks well on leash, and learned to grab a bone to self-soothe when excited. A trainer at a top facility evaluated her last week — she passed every test and was praised as highly trainable.Granger just needs a short time to warm up to new people, but once she does, you’re family for life. I have never once felt unsafe alone in the house with her by my side — she’s a wonderful watchdog.Honesty matters: Granger is reactive with other dogs, though she lives peacefully with one now. With someone patient and loving, this is very manageable. She’s being rehomed after her owner’s death and just wants someone to love her.

Story
I’m looking for a temporary foster “staycation” while I work on gaining a little bit of weight. A cozy home with regular meals, a comfortable place to relax, and someone to give me a little extra TLC would be just what I need! Once I’ve reached a healthy weight and am ready for my next steps, I’ll be one step closer to becoming available for adoption and finding my forever home. In the meantime, I’d love to spend some time enjoying the comforts of a home and showing my foster family just how sweet I am!

Story
Meet Snickerdoodle! This sweet girl is looking for a loving foster home where she can relax, feel comfortable, and get the extra care she needs while she works on gaining some healthy weight. Snickerdoodle is not quite ready for her spay surgery yet, so her foster family will play an important part in helping her get stronger and ready for her next step! While she’s in foster, Snickerdoodle will need a safe and comfortable environment, nutritious meals, and plenty of love and encouragement. Watching her gain confidence and reach a healthier weight will be such a rewarding experience for the lucky family who opens their home to her. If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet girl, Snickerdoodle would love the chance to spend some time outside the shelter and get the care and attention she needs. 🐶

Story
Introducing Meadow Junior! She’s a junior because she looks so much like a mini version of a previous dog we had named Meadow. Anyway, Meadow went to the shelter as a stray. She had given birth under a house, and only 2 pups survived. After her stray hold was up we got her! Meadow was very shy at first, but has opened up so much. She’s a very silly, happy, and playful girl. Meadow is very submissive to other dogs but still enjoys running and playing with them. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and on flea/tick prevention. Puppies/dogs older than 3 months are on heartworm prevention. Meet Nani, a 9-month-old Border Collie mix with a big personality and even bigger energy!
