Ajax is all heart — he lives to be by your side. Endlessly affectionate, he thrives on closeness and love, and will follow you from room to room and curl up next to you at the end of the day. He is fully house trained, knows a few tricks, and loves walks — he can pull at the start but responds beautifully to treats and settles into a great walking companion with a little patience. Ajax is especially warm and gentle with women and children. He’s still working on his manners with new people — he’ll bark and wants to jump up when someone arrives, so leashed introductions work best. He isn’t aggressive; he’s protective and a little nervous, and with consistency he warms up quickly. He is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night without a peep. He loves chasing a ball, eats twice a day, and has a chicken allergy common to his breed. Ajax would thrive with someone who has time and heart to keep working with him — he gives back everything he gets, and then some.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet River! 1 year old, located in Deltona, FL. River is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd who came to rescue as an owner surrender due to health & financial issues. River is current with his vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention for fleas/ticks & Heartworms. River continues to show what a sweet, loving boy he is while in foster care! ❤️ His foster mom reports that River previously lived with an 11–12-year-old child and recently had the opportunity to meet a younger child during an adoption event. He immediately bonded with her and happily played ball together. Based on that interaction, River appears to do very well with children. This handsome guy is also making great progress with his manners. He's good on a leash and knows how to sit on command both inside the home and during walks. Like many enthusiastic pups, he can pull when he's excited to head out, but he responds well to correction and quickly settles back into good behavior. River is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his people. He still gets a little excited and may jump up for attention or offer lots of kisses, but he's a gentle-hearted boy who is eager to please and continues to learn. At home, River has been an excellent houseguest. He and fellow foster dog Nella are wonderful roommates and enjoy playing together. He has also spent time around cats and has shown little interest in them, choosing to peacefully coexist instead. As for squirrels? The jury is still out! His foster mom hasn't seen him chase any, though there haven't been many around to test the theory. ️ River is a loving, playful companion with a big heart and so much to offer a lucky family.
