I am a friendly and playful senior gentleman who came to the shelter because my owner no longer had enough time to give me the attention I deserve. I’m house-trained and already know quite a few tricks—including “sit,” “come,” “down,” “paw,” “stay,” and “lay.” I’ve lived well with children of all ages, and I can be friendly with cats too - as long as they understand that my food is mine! I’m also very playful and love to run! So, bonus points for a fenced-in yard. I may be a senior, but I still have so much love to give. I’m hoping to find a family who will appreciate my good manners, loyal heart, and all the wonderful years we can still share together. So, what do you say? Could you be the happy ending I’ve been dreaming of?Yogi is a 7-year-old, 63-lb good boy who`s playful, house-trained, and kid-friendly.

I am a sweet senior boy who sadly ended up here in the shelter because my owner`s lifestyle changed. It has not been easy for me to adjust to this change after 9 years. As I heal from a broken heart, I am also ready to find my new (and hopefully forever) home where I can enjoy my golden years. I am crate-trained and house-trained, and I enjoy walks and car rides. I know some basic commands, such as “sit”, “down”, and “stay”, and I have lived well with children of all ages! As an added bonus, I am also good with cats! I might be a little older, but I still have so much love left to give. Ask to meet me! I would love nothing more than to be your new best friend.Weighs around 50 lbs - Good with children and cats! - House-trained! - Affectionate & playful!

Story
Bandit is a very sweet boy! He is ecollar and prong collar trained. He is reactive with other dogs and people entering his space but with the right experienced person, I think this could be very limited. He has environmental and food allergies so he's on Apoquel and Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein. We also wipe his paws every time he comes in the house with chlorhexadine wipes. He takes a probiotic, fish oil, and Fluoxetine for anxiety. He loves to cuddle, go to the beach, and play fetch. He is very intelligent but does not like his crate, can be destructive when left alone. He has so much energy and absolutely requires a yard and lots of exercise. We are currently in an apartment with busy jobs and can't provide him with what he needs. His medications and food costs are just too much and he doesn't like new people in the home so travel is impossible. He is an amazing boy, we just want what's best for him and to get all the care he needs. 4.5 years old and 27ish pounds.

Ok this is heavy heart post. Matchi is an Australian shepherd toy pure breed adult female dog. She is great with children very protective very accepting and just overall very cuddly. She was trained to be emotional support dog and does well. She walks on the leash well with kids BUT she has extremely strong prey instincts and herding instincts. She takes off running after people grabbing their ankles especially when they pass nearby kids. She also digs up trash when left alone for prolonged periods of time-believe she’s bored. She needs a big yard and will fetch all day long. She hates car rides and throws up within 15 minutes in even with meds from the vet.Sadly not a travel buddy. She’s good pet but must be active and busy and have strict rules and instructions given.Bad habits I think are due to boredom. She’s my son’s dog and he doesn’t exercise her enough. She gets along with dogs but can try to establish herself in a pack and won’t hesitate to jump onto Rottweiler. She loves food
