Story
I adopted Tucker from a local rescue. No background given except that he was picked up by Animal Control. He's been with me for 4 months. He quickly learned to eliminate outside and walks well on a leash. He's very smart... he listens when I use commands like come, sit, lets go nightynight. I'm re-homing him because care for my 90-year-old mom is taking more time and energy than in the past. Another issue.... mom's homebound and he wants to nip at the heel everyone who touches her. We have several l healthcare professional coming each week and I don't want to crate him every day. My sweet Tucker needs a place to run and to be busy... preferably a farm or large yard where he can play. When he's around other dogs, he's calm even when they bark at him, but if they get too close, he'll start barking too, so he may need help socializing with other dogs. He does well in a crate. It takes time for him to trust visitors, but once he does, he's very relaxed and calm around them.

Story
Bentley is a loyal, intelligent dog who is eager to learn and easy to train. We rescued him a few years ago, and for much of that time, he was our only dog. Two years ago, he became a father to six puppies, and while we found loving homes for most of them, we kept two. At first, Bentley was fine with the puppies, but as they grew older, he became more protective—especially around his food and the house when they come inside. He seems anxious around them and would truly thrive as the only dog in a home where he can feel secure and relaxed. Bentley takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he’s an incredibly loyal companion. We welcome prospective adopters to visit him multiple times to ensure it’s a great match. A patient adopter who allows Bentley to build trust at his own pace, including with friends and family, will be rewarded with a devoted best friend for life.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application Harper is a 2 year old owner surrender that spent the first 2 years of her life in an outdoor kennel. She is doing great in her foster home a little afraid of new surroundings but adapted and quit hiding after 3 days. She has warmed up to the family kids and dog in her foster home. She is learning that life in the house isn't so bad. This is what her foster mom had to say: Harper is a 2 year old Aussie with a gentle heart and so much potential. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality really starts to shine. Harper is eager to learn and truly wants to connect with her person, she just needs a little patience and encouragement to blossom. She loves going on walks and enjoys having a routine. As a typical Aussie, she's smart and attentive, and she'll thrive with someone who can continue building her confidence and giving her positive guidance. Harper is both house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a home. Harper does well with other dogs and would likely benefit from a confident canine companion. She's also good with older kids who understand that she may need a little time to warm up. Her ideal home would be a calm, patient household committed to helping her grow into the amazing dog she's meant to be. In return, Harper will give you loyalty, quiet companionship, and the joy of watching a shy girl come out of her shell. If you're looking for a smart, sensitive, and loving best friend, Harper might be your perfect matchVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 19, 2026, 9:10 am
