It took her 2 weeks before she would take treats from her foster moms hand and to allow pets, but now Javelin follows her around the house wanting affection. She will need another dog in the home to help her confidence, and a securly fenced yard is required. Javelin is doing well with potty training. If you love to give "Hope to the Mistreated, Heal the Neglected, and Home the Unwanted" as much as we do (and we do because that is our motto), then this is the gal for you!! She will take some time and a lot of patience but it will surely be very rewarding once her walls are broken down. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body despite how scared she is, agression is not a concern, she chooses to flee but if cornered she shrinks low and allows handling.
