Story
Benny is a Mini American Shepherd, 14 months old and 25 lbs. He is learning how to live outside a kennel. He loves cuddles and attention, spends most of his time snuggled next to a human on the couch. Benny loves toys and drags them all out of the toy box. He enjoys playing with other dogs, is ok with cats... just curious. Still working on all the basic skills - walking on a leash, potty training, basic commands. Very sweet, quiet boy (rarely barks). Just needs a person or family who can be consistent and patient with his training. Benny's $300 adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test, flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, deworming medication, and microchip with registration. Story
Ellie is a young Australian Shepherd that is great with children, farm animals and other dogs. She is a bit more reserved and does not demand attention, but want to run around and play. She has been around farm animals and has been fine with them, (she need to work on not chasing and playing with chickens…) but is great with goats and sheep. Our toddlers can be with her and she does not mind being pulled around by children. She is a thoughtful dog but n need of a new family.

Story
My adoption fee has been sponsored! Luck is in the air this March! Our pets are hoping to be lucky in love with a new best friend by the end of the month. We are having a "Lucky in Love" special and have reduced the fee on quite a few of our available pets. Any pets marked with the "Lucky in Love" sticker, have had their adoption fee reduced in hopes to meet their match this month! Adult dogs a part of this adoption special have had their adoption fee reduced to $99.00. Adult cats that qualify for this special have been reduced to $25.00. Some have even had their adoption fee sponsored. Apply now! Meet CJ, the ultimate snuggle bug. He's very calm and gentle. He loves to climb into a lap and snuggle up for pets until he falls asleep. One of his cutest habits is finding any human in the house, getting as close as possible, then sitting down and waiting for pets. His speedy little tail wags will melt your heart. CJ is looking for a home where he can shine as the only pet. All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. The "French Dessert" Litter puppies were surrendered by a family in Tennessee who could not keep them due to housing. Mom (Lucy Lou) came with them, but we do not know who the Dad is. The family said he was a small Pyrenees. These babies are fuzzy and have the softest coats and the sweetest personalities. Aren't they just adorable? Available 3/24. Hi there, I'm Mousse! I'm a young, bubbly pup full of sweetness and love. My days are filled with friendly tail wags and cuddly naps. I'm gentle with everyone I meet, always ready to share a comforting paw or a loving lick. I'm known for my kind nature, my love for playtime, and my knack for making people smile. Life in a foster home is great, but I dream of a home where I can share my love and joy every day. If you're looking for a loyal friend, a playful companion, and a sweet soul to share your life with, I'm your pup! Hello, I'm Palmier, a puppy with a heart full of love. Every day in my foster home, I'm learning new things and meeting new friends. I'm a gentle soul who loves to cuddle and play. My sweetness is my superpower; I can turn a bad day into a good one with just a wag of my tail. I'm friendly too, always eager to make new friends. I may be young, but I have a lot of love to give. Adopting me means you'll have a loyal friend for life, who will always be there to brighten your day. Story
Meet Zoey, a sweet and gentle 1 year and 8 months old, 45.5 pound, Australian Shepherd who is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can continue to build confidence and feel safe. This lovely girl is making great progress with house training and almost has it mastered. While she’s not a fan of being shut in her crate when her foster family leaves, she does like having it as a cozy retreat when the door is left open when people are home. Zoey loves to run around the house and yard with her canine foster siblings and enjoys playing with toys and chewing on a good bone. She would thrive in a home with another dog to help her feel secure and show her the ropes. She’s more nervous around men but does warm up with time and patience. While she hasn’t been around young children, her foster mom suspects she would do best with older, calmer kids who will respect her space and give her the time she needs to adjust. Because of her initial fearfulness, Zoey will need a home with a securely fenced yard, as she is a flight risk. Her ideal home would be a quiet one with few visitors and a friendly dog companion. Described as shy but playful, reserved but happy, Zoey is learning to trust and is blossoming into a truly joyful pup. Once she settles in, her little nubbin' tail wags like crazy, showing just how much love she has to give. Her minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Tilly is mesmerizing with her icy blue eyes. This beautiful girl is just 15 months old. She is very smart. She would be great learning one of the many dog sports. She consistantly "checks in" with her foster mom to see if anything is expected of her.  Tilly would thrive with an adopter who is "hands on". She is 1/3 border collie, but also has small amounts of siberian husky/saint bernard/boxer/labrador retriever per her DNA results. A quiet home without small children would be ideal for her. Tilly is dog selective and it is unknown how she is with cats. She is crate and potty trained. Tilly is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is only $300.00. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1880121##
