Online Adoption Application › Please read all details in bio before applying for adoption!Link is our very special pup. He is a blind neuro boy and because of this it will take time and patience for him to adjust. He may act out in fear. He occasionaly has night terrors. He will need to get familiar with his new person's scent and voice to know they are near. We are looking for a special person, preferably who has experience with a blind pup and Is willing to discuss and work with him. Link is very fearful of other animals and would do best in a home with only adult humans and a fenced yard.  He will always be a pup. Link has an amazing personality and is very loving, especially to those who give him belly rubs and food (his two favorite things). He knows his crate is a safe place and gets very comfortable. He loves to run and play in the yard. He will be some work for the right individual who can help him blossom.  Link is medium in size, he has grown more than expected.CARE's adoption process is done by the applicant using their cell at the adoption meeting to access the Shelterluv platform to agree to the adoption contract and pay the $250 adoption fee by credit or debit card. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 23, 2024, 11:18 pm

Online Adoption Application › Meet Fletcher! This handsome and smart 4 year old, 64 pound aussie/border collie mix is so playful! Fletcher enjoys going on walks, snuggling up to his humans, playing with toys, and spending time outside. He loves playing fetch with 2 chuck it balls in the yard. Fletcher is a smart cookie and already knows some commands like sit and paw. He is housetrained, sleeps quietly in a crate at night, takes treats gently, and is fully vetted: neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and heartworm negative. Inside the house he's a well behaved house guest that likes to look out the window if given the opportunity to observe the world go by. He hops right into cars and does well on trips, loves to sploot (stretch out his back legs all the way when laying down), and doesn't mind rainy outside conditions. If Fetcher sounds like your new best friend, please submit an application and we will be in touch shortly. Story
Maybelline is currently in a foster home so an approved application and appointment is required to meet her! Here's what her foster has to say about her: "She doesn't bark. She stops to say hi to dogs on walks but then keeps on going, no barking at strangers or dogs from far away! She goes in her crate every night with no accidents or crying, and kind of knows the routine now for bedtime! She has taken an interest in our cats but she doesn't chase them or try to play, more just checking them out - she got hissed at once and left the room. She knows sit very well! She also kind of heels on walks, but we're working on loose leash walking because she will lunge out of nowhere to sniff more. She is a little nervous on walks. Cars and anything that revs will send her into pancake mode until they pass by, so we've been giving her treats and praising her when she gets back up or when she just keeps walking. She also is getting rewarded for getting in the car as we drive to the park, and this was scary for her at first but seeing our dog jump in helps. Once she's in she loves to just sit and look out the window! I think doors are scary for her, as she reacts the same way when coming back inside of the door isn't already open. She did interact with a child this weekend and was so gentle and just sat while they pet her head, she's very gentle with our dog too and they've been sharing beds, toys, etc. The closest to herding we've seen is she may nudge our dog with her nose lightly to stay on the bed with her, and taking all the toys she can find and putting them in their bed as well. She loves a good Kong and our puzzle toys! Maybelline is practically perfect!"

Story
Hello, I'm Seth! I weigh 56.6 lbs. and I'm a very sweet boy. I don't like the other dogs here at the shelter and I haven't been exposed to cats yet. I would do very well in a family that has a laid-back, relaxed routine, as I'm a very calm boy! Please consider me for adoption and come see me at the shelter! ##1896847##
