Story
Jasper is a purebred Aussie and a big lovable goof! We originally found him abandoned on the side of the street and he was not well taken care of. We decided to rescue him and get him healthy and in good condition again and have had him for nearly 3 months now. He has had all of his shots and been neutered as well as microchipped. He is a wonderful dog and very sweet. We are looking to rehome him due to the fact that we already have many other animals and cannot give him the attention and care he is deserving of. He gets along very well with the other animals in the house (both cats and dogs) and loves to play with others.

Story
Meet Uncle Fester! This handsome 4-year-old Australian Shepherd mix has quite the story to tell. Originally adopted as a puppy from Louie’s Legacy, Uncle Fester recently found himself abandoned in the woods. Thankfully, a local shelter recognized him and contacted us right away—and we wasted no time bringing him back into rescue where he belongs. Despite all he’s been through, Uncle Fester’s heart is still full of love. He absolutely adores men—he completely melted for the dog warden who helped him—and he does well with women, too. He may be a little shy at first, which is understandable after the whirlwind of his past week, but once he warms up, he’s affectionate and loves all the pets and attention you’ll give him. Uncle Fester walks decently on a leash (though he can pull a bit when he’s excited) and enjoys car rides, where he sits back and watches the world go by. He’s also good with other dogs and was even found with a canine companion. We’re still getting to know this sweet boy, but one thing’s already clear—Uncle Fester is a gentle soul ready for his fresh start and a family who will never let him down again. Uncle Fester is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾✨ Meet Fergie — Your All-Access Adventure Pass ✨🐾 Fergie is a 2-year-old Mini Aussie, weighing 34 pounds, and she’s basically a ball of energy wrapped in a drop-dead gorgeous chocolate, tan, and white coat. Seriously — this girl turns heads everywhere she goes… and then zooms past them because she’s got places to be. 😄 She’s smart, athletic, and READY FOR ACTION, making her an amazing candidate for agility, obedience, hiking, running, or anything that lets her stretch those legs and use that brilliant Aussie brain. Fergie walks beautifully on and off leash, hops into the car like a pro, and is always up for the next adventure — whether that’s a weekend road trip or a quick trip to grab coffee. Fergie is: ✅ House trained ✅ Spayed & up-to-date on vaccines ✅ Great with dogs ✅ Good with kids ✅ Energetic, athletic, and eager to learn ✅ A total superstar with “good dog” energy Cats are currently unknown, but with her smarts and training ability, proper introductions could go a long way. This girl is not a couch potato — she’s looking for an active family who wants a dog to be part of everything but she does like that precious cuddle just like any other... when the day is done. Morning walks? She’s in. Weekend hikes? Absolutely. Road trips? Shotgun. Folding laundry? She’ll supervise. And let’s talk about that coat — rich chocolate brown with tan and white markings that make her look like she walked straight out of a dog magazine. Beauty and brains? Yes, for sure! ✨ If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, adventure buddy, and all-around awesome dog, Fergie checks every box. Apply today at haydudeequine.org and get ready to fall in love with your new favorite adventure partner! 🐶💨💖

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Michele (mballenger58@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › Please read all details in bio before applying for adoption!Link is our very special pup. He is a blind neuro boy and because of this it will take time and patience for him to adjust. He may act out in fear. He occasionaly has night terrors. He will need to get familiar with his new person's scent and voice to know they are near. We are looking for a special person, preferably who has experience with a blind pup and Is willing to discuss and work with him. Link is very fearful of other animals and would do best in a home with only adult humans and a fenced yard.  He will always be a pup. Link has an amazing personality and is very loving, especially to those who give him belly rubs and food (his two favorite things). He knows his crate is a safe place and gets very comfortable. He loves to run and play in the yard. He will be some work for the right individual who can help him blossom.  Link is medium in size, he has grown more than expected.CARE's adoption process is done by the applicant using their cell at the adoption meeting to access the Shelterluv platform to agree to the adoption contract and pay the $250 adoption fee by credit or debit card. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 2, 2025, 9:07 pm
