Story
Luna is a loyal, affectionate 5 year old dog who forms strong bonds with her people. She loves calm companionship, relaxing at home, and being close to her humans once she feels safe and settled. Luna does best in a structured home. She is house-trained and thrives on routine. She would be a great fit for an experienced dog owner can provide consistency and clear boundaries. During storms or loud noises, Luna experiences anxiety and does best with a calm environment and supportive management, such as a safe space and prescribed medication when needed. With the right setup, she is able to settle and rest. We are committed to finding Luna a peaceful home where she can feel secure, understood, and deeply loved.

Story
Meet Juno: Small Package, Big Adventure Plans Juno is a 5 month old male Australian Shepherd mix weighing in at about 25 pounds, with plenty of growing left to do and a whole lot of personality already installed. He’s at that magical puppy age where curiosity leads the way and every day feels like it should include learning something new. Juno’s foster mom never needs to look for him, he follows her everywhere. As you’d expect from an Aussie mix, Juno is smart, alert, and always ready for action. He loves to explore, play, and stretch his legs, so a physically fenced yard is a must for this young guy. It gives him a safe place to zoom, investigate, and work off his puppy energy. Juno already has some impressive life skills for a youngster. He is house trained and crate trained, giving him a great foundation as he continues to learn and grow. He does well with other dogs and truly enjoys playtime, making him a great match for a home with a playful canine companion. With consistency, structure, and a sense of humor, Juno is going to mature into an excellent companion. If you’re looking for a bright, social puppy who’s ready to grow up alongside you and keep life fun, Juno is ready to start his next chapter. Juno is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. If you’d like to meet Juno, please fill out an adoption application at www.furfunrescue.org. If you have questions about Juno you can email rox@furfunrescue.org or call 319-929-6657. Adopters must live within a two-hour radius of Cedar Rapids, IA. Indoor homes only. Adoption Fee: $300

Story
Meet Josie, a 5 month old 20 pound Australian Shepherd mix who is discovering the world one joyful moment at a time. Josie is a playful, curious puppy who approaches life with bright eyes and a wagging tail. She’s in that wonderful stage where everything is new and exciting, and she’s eager to learn with guidance from her people. Like most pups her age, Josie has perfected the art of balance. One minute she’s zooming around with toys or dog friends, the next she’s curled up for a good snuggle. Josie does well with other dogs making her a great fit for an active, multi dog home. She is doing great at house training, though she’s still a puppy and will need more frequent potty breaks than an adult dog as she continues to grow and mature. Because Josie loves to run, play, and burn off her puppy energy safely, a physically fenced yard is required for his forever home. Josie is looking for a family ready to help her learn, play, and grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. In return, she’ll bring laughter, affection, and that special puppy joy that fills a home with life. Josie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. If you’d like to meet Josie, please fill out an adoption application at www.furfunrescue.org. If you have questions about Josie you can email rox@furfunrescue.org or call 319-929-6657. Story
Meet Judd: Soft as a Bunny, Smart as a Whip Judd is a 5 month old male Australian Shepherd mix and the bigger brother in his litter of five weighing in at 36 pounds. He’s still very much a puppy, just packaged in a slightly sturdier frame, and he’s ready to grow into a loyal, thoughtful companion. Judd is shy at first, especially around men, and appreciates a calm, patient approach while he gets his bearings. Once he feels safe, his true personality comes forward. He’s incredibly smart and learns quickly, the kind of pup who watches closely, figures things out fast, and wants to do things right. As an Aussie mix, Judd needs both mental and physical outlets. A physically fenced yard is required so he has a safe place to run, play, and build confidence at his own pace. Judd is already crate trained and potty trained, though like any young puppy he will need to go outside more frequently than an adult dog. With a consistent schedule, he does very well and continues to build great habits. And then there’s the coat. Judd’s fur is famously soft. Think bunny-soft. The kind of dog you absentmindedly pet for five minutes and suddenly realize you’ve stopped everything else you were doing. With patience, positive reinforcement, and steady routines, Judd is going to blossom into a devoted and intelligent companion. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a quick mind and the softest coat around, Judd may be your perfect match. Judd is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. If you’d like to meet Judd, please fill out an adoption application at www.furfunrescue.org. If you have questions about Judd you can email rox@furfunrescue.org or call 319-929-6657.
