She's affectionate without being demanding, happy to curl up beside you for a nap, and always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a gentle smile. Don't let her age fool you, Marley still has plenty of life left! She easily climbs stairs, enjoys exploring the yard, and every now and then she'll surprise you with a playful game of "chase me" that reminds you there's still a puppy hiding inside that sweet face. Marley is incredibly smart and has wonderful house manners. She's fully house trained, settles nicely in the home, and quickly learns routines. She's the type of dog who makes life easier, not harder. One of Marley's greatest gifts is her easygoing personality. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, has been respectful of cats, and would thrive in a peaceful home with adults. If there are children in the home, older, respectful children would be the best fit for her. More than anything, Marley simply wants to be near her people, soaking up the love and companionship that makes a house feel like home. If you're looking for a hiking partner who needs to run five miles a day, Marley will happily cheer you on from the couch. Gibson is the black one, and Ozzy is the grey merle. Gibson has husky in his mix, he's got the year-round undercoat but more importantly the husky friendliness and playfulness. He's quiet, unlike a husky, and rarely barks. Ozzy is a velcro aussie, and he's a talker when he's wound up. The kong tennis ball bone is Ozzy's most favoritest toy ever. Both are between 9-10 years old, and ~70 lbs. Both are great with all ages, and domestic pets (have had direct experience with cats and bunnies). They are both shepherds at heart, and they stay in their home yard/area without needing to be watched. They're both protective of their family, but not aggressive or hostile at it. Both are extremely playful and love to rough house, and technically play fetch, though both like to hold onto the toy and tease each other into playing tug of war, so getting the toy back isn't always easy.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Looking for a pup who's a full meal deal? Meet Quarter Pounder, or QP for short! This lovable guy is packed with personality, extra sweetness, and a side of puppy fun.  QP is an incredibly sweet, playful pup with a personality as big as his heart! This curious guy loves to explore the world around him and is always ready for his next adventure. His favorite thing is making new puppy friends and he is always ready for a play session. He is however terrified of cats and would prefer a home without any. While he enjoys treats, his true favorite is a good plush toy. He's also a smart cookie—he learned "sit" very quickly and is eager to keep learning with positive reinforcement. He greets everyone with a happy tail wag and has the funniest little habit of carrying things wherever he goes. Sticks? Yep. Toys? Absolutely. His own leash? Of course! If he can pick it up, he'll proudly parade around with it. He even tries to walk himself sometimes! QP rides wonderfully in the car, making him the perfect copilot for errands or adventures. As a young puppy, he's still working on potty training, so he'll need a patient family ready to help him learn and grow. QP's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives, plus a free basic obedience course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. QP is seeking an indoor only home with adopters who have a history of having kept their pets altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives.
