Story
Our pretty little Lilac girl is a black pearl of sweetness and love.   We had convinced a backyard breeder who was in dire times, to allow us to give a small adoption fee to take them out of the bad conditions.  Critter Cavalry Rescue never does this but it was to save her and her litter mates from bad health and bad adoptions.  She is an Aussie girl that will be 35-45 pounds when fully grown and was born around the Middle of December or so.  What a charmer she is….quiet but does get the zoomies playing with her brothers who like to rev up the games as all boys do. If you are interested in this Aussie girl pup please write us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
My name is Irish, a black Australian shepherd puppy, born around December 5th 2023, at 12 weeks old I weigh 18 pounds and probably destined to be 50 pounds as an adult. Currently, I live with my brother and sister and our foster parents. Boy, do we keep those humans busy!  My favorite part of the day is anything to do with eating. I also love wrestling with my siblings, although wrestling or snuggling with my people is also awesome. I am crate-trained, not housebroken (too young) and I would love to have playmates. My playmates can be humans or dogs, or both! (I’ve never met a cat before but I'm certain they would be my friend). I like to play with soft toys, although the occasional chewy toy is pretty fun for teething on. At the moment, my favorite toy is an old dish towel my mom has tied in a knot. The simple things in life entertain me. I would need lots of playtime outside and inside, and lots of snuggles when I leave my siblings for the first time. I promise to return love infinitely when I come live with you. P.S. Mom says I have to tell you that I am very charming and can act innocent even if I was causing a “ruckus”, whatever that is.  Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  to ask for an official  adoption application  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 35 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow.  She has the typical bad habit of jumping on people she greets with excitement.  For this reason she probably needs to live with children who are over 8 years of age.  The foster mom is working on her jumping but it will take some extended training and she is really new to the foster home.  If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day.  Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her.   She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands.  If you are interested in this girl please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
We are trying to help this sweet girl called Bonnie Belle to find a home since her elderly parents are in failing health and cannot care for their five dogs.  Bonnie Belle is a mix of some interesting breeds.  We think she has some Aussie and maybe Boxer in her.  The Australian Shepherd trait is what makes her a protector of the yard and home when strangers approach.  She is the home security dog officer!   This girl is losing her home because her elderly parents have fallen into bad health.  Bonnie Belle is 4 years old and weighs a little over 40 pounds.  She adores people and is good with the other dogs that she spends time with in the fenced yard.  She is housebroken, affectionate and a devoted girl to her family.  If you would like to give Bonnie her next forever home, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue who is helping her at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
Meet Murphy, our adorable little Border Collie Mix boy puppy who was rescued from a small town shelter where he was under weight and riddled with internal parasites.  His future was very bleak but now Murphy has been treated and is a healthy, happy little guy free of parasites and gaining weight like a puppy should.  Born around November 1st, he is approximately 10 weeks old (as of Jan 5th) and weighs 12 pounds.  He is expected to reach around 40 pounds as an adult.  He is friendly with all humans (toddlers included), dogs and cats that he has been in contact with.  Murphy is curious, playful and very loveable and is quite the talker.  Murphy seems to be the most curious of his siblings.  His foster mom believes he is mixed with many different breeds that are smart and inquisitive.  If you are interested please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Momma Donna is a Kelpie/Heeler mix girl that gave birth 3 months ago to 8 beautiful, wonderful Heeler puppies. This girl is 2 years old and only 42 pounds.  She is amazingly smart and seems to know exactly what you are saying to her.  We think that Momma Donna would be a perfect addition to a home with children who want to play and teach a dog some good tricks and manners.  She is willing to learn anything. Momma Donna is nicely housebroken and ready for a totally great and new life.  Momma Donna just needs a place to belong.   So, do you have a front porch and a hole in your heart ready to be filled by a loving and devoted dog who wants to walk down the road with you every day?   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in Momma Donna.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
This stunning 3 year old, 50 pound Border Collie girl is called Evee and she is looking for a home where she can be herself.  This girl needs an active person or family or couple to take her on hikes, jogs, walks and just a lifestyle filled with experiences that are stimulating and challenging mentally.  Border Collies are so very smart and it is not good for them to be bored or ignored.  We are looking for a situation with perhaps older children, empty nesting couple that wants a strong minded and loving dog that will be devoted to them.  Evee would like to be the only dog in the home.  She is housebroken, crate trained and needsto be out and about experiencing new things in her life, so that she is less nervous meeting new people and going places. She has led a very limited life so far and we want to see her have more FUN!  She is a beauty that is striking with her shiny black coat with snow while accents.  She is the definition of 'Black and White' coloring.  It would be ideal for her to be in a home with a secure, fenced yard.  If you are interested in our girl Evee please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   She is ready for a happier new chapter in her life. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 29, 2024, 8:59 am
