Story
This handsome Australian Shepherd mix young guy is called Red Ranger Tom  and he is needing a  home that will show him the best in manners and how to be the smart dog God made him to be. Ranger Tom needs a home environment that is calm and other dogs in the home must not be too high energy and in his face.  It stresses him.  He is well behaved and eager to learn.  He plays well with other dogs that dont get too rough.  He is housebroken and good on a leash.  He is crate trained and happier than he was just 6 months ago when he was abandoned by his owner. Critter Cavalry Rescue wants to help him get a great forever home that understands his breed needs.  Can you help rescue him and make his life a dream come true with love and patience!???? Ranger is 11 months old and about 48 pounds.  He is a good boy and does well with most all the dogs he meets that are mannerly and not getting in his face to demand his attention.  It scares him a little.  If you are looking for a great sidekick dog that will hike, run/jog, go for car rides and just experience life together then please consider Ranger Tom.  Email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.  He is ready .    If you are interested in helping please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ASAP!   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 10, 2023, 10:26 am

Story
Miss Shirley is a sweet girl! She is very playful and full of energy. She would do best with a very active family. She loves to be outdoors as much as possible. She is great with kids and other dogs. She is house trained. She does fine left alone out of a crate for short periods - have not tested longer periods. She LOVES bones. She rides well in the car. She is either running around and playing with her foster dog friends, chewing a bone or running outside - Miss Shirley is not much of a lounger! Although, once she is tuckered out, she is happy to snuggle with her humans. She does not know any commands yet- but she is eager to please and very food motivated, so will be very trainable. Miss Shirley is 1 year old and approximately 40 lbs. Adoption fee is $450 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
IN Saco-Maine -Are you an active, outdoors-loving person who is looking for a canine buddy to share adventures? Then Teddy is your guy! He is a 6-month-old Aussie mix puppy rescued in Kentucky with all the energy you could ever want! And he's a super smart cuddle bug and ready to learn new things! If you have the patience and persistence to give him the training to bring out his potential, you'll have an amazing and devoted partner! Teddy is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines and has recently been neutered. He is also microchipped. He is crate trained and rides well in the car. He is learning leash walking. Teddy loves to run and play with other dogs. However, a home where he will be the ONLY dog is essential. Teddy will be the most devoted dog you'll ever own because he will love the person he bonds with totally. And he'll be reluctant to share his person with another dog. If you are up to the challenge of training this loveable ball of energy to join you for hiking, biking, climbing, snow sports and other adventures, Teddy is waiting for you! Previous Aussie experience or herding dog experience and a fenced yard is ideal but not a deal breaker. You must have a safe, dog-friendly area where you can take Teddy for a daily run to get his exercise. Teddy is being fostered in Saco, Maine. A meet & greet is essential for you to see just how special this little guy is! Here is the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new family and a $150 transport fee which is what we paid to transport him from Kentucky to Maine.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. BRYNN and her siblings were saved from a kill shelter in Louisiana and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 10 October 2023. BRYNN is spayed rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. She has an estimated date of birth of June 2023 and on 26th October 2023 weighed around 30 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue    YouTube channel    and    photo albums on our Facebook page    to see a LOT of pictures and videos. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. BRYNN is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for an adoption fee of $550. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - As the dogs are in the kennels, we are not able to say how they are with cats.
