Story
Meet Knox! If you've ever wished for a dog who thinks you're the greatest person in the world, Knox has been practicing for this role his entire life. This handsome 3-year-old Aussiedoodle weighs about 80 pounds at the moment, but don't let the extra fluff fool you—he's already working on a healthier lifestyle after spending his early years enjoying a little too much people food. His former owner adored him and spoiled him with table scraps, so now Knox is discovering that dog food, daily walks, and playtime are the recipe for feeling his best. Knox's world changed forever when his beloved mom unexpectedly passed away this spring. Since then, he's been missing what he treasures most: having someone to love. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, Knox checks all the boxes. He's house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, loves children, and has a gentle, affectionate personality that makes everyone feel like they're his favorite person. Whether you're heading out for a walk, spending time in the backyard, or loading up the car for a weekend adventure, Knox will happily be right by your side. He's looking for a family that enjoys being active and will help him continue his fitness journey. A fenced yard for games of fetch, daily walks, and plenty of quality time together would be his dream come true. While Knox hasn't officially met cats, he politely ignores the neighborhood cats he sees during walks, so we think he has the makings of a respectful housemate with proper introductions. Neutered, heartworm negative, and ready to begin again, Knox isn't just looking for another home—he's looking for his next best friend. Maybe that's you. To learn more about adopting Knox, email ccrnewengland@gmail.com and include your city and state with your inquiry. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 13, 2026, 5:45 pm

Story
Marley Girl is a happy, outgoing  8 year old Aussie Doodle with a heart full of love and lots of years and life left to share. This young senior girl is looking for a new home through no fault of her own because her natural herding instincts have taken over and she is chasing the chickens at her former home.  Apparently eggs are more important than sweet Marley.   This girl at 8 years is not too big and just 45 pounds and has lived with another dog during her life and also cats.  Chickens are different for dogs and so she is looking for a new place to live.  Marley is is fully house trained and potty trained, She loves riding in a car and enjoys watching the scenery go by as she rides shotgun. While Marley has a few years behind her she has so many more ahead of her. Her infectious smile only guarantees that you will be her beloved family that she will adore as an easy companion dog.  This girl is all about being a loyal, family-friendly companion who is past the puppy stage but still ready for more years of adventures, cuddles and making memories, Marley may be the perfect match for you. if you are a senior or a younger person that just wants a mellow dog to love.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 13, 2026, 5:45 pm

Story
This little darling is called Mini Pearl and she is as spunky and funny as the real Minnie Pearl was back in the days of the 70's and 80's where she was the Queen of Country Comedy.  Little Mini Pearl is a Miniature Australian Shepherd who lost her owner when she passed away. Several other small breed dogs were left behind and have all found homes.  Mini Pearl is just 2-3 years old and 13 pounds and spicy and with a darling kick to her personality. She has the big personality in the tiny little body. She is housebroken, crate trained and a little intimidated by large dogs. A very normal reaction from a tiny little girl and normal with small breed dogs that are her size.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 13, 2026, 5:45 pm

Story
Nola is one of those strikingly beautiful dogs that creates an emotion of wanting to hug her, pet her and to get to know her.  She makes it easy for all humans to approach her and become friends.  This 2 year old Aussie Mix girl weights 77 pounds and she is a girl who makes herself right at home when she knows she is invited to stay.  She was found as a stray in a small town in rural Tennessee and no history is known of her past.  As she stayed at the small shelter for a month (summers are brutal in this small town with few adopting visitors) she exhibited no tension from all the drama and barking that surrounded her from other dogs.  Shelters are stressful but Nola stayed calm as a summer cucumber!  She is a girl that needs some polishing.  She is pretty much housebroken but need to know the lay of a home and the schedule that she will need to go out for potty breaks.  She is easy to enjoy and have around. Pretty good on a leash too!.  Crate training is a bit of a mystery at this point.  We do not think that a home where she is crated for 9 hours daily would be advisable.  A fenced yard is of great benefit to her a dog like her.  The breed needs exercise and is not an apartment couch potato for long hours.   Walks and backyard hangout time is of great advantage for her.  Nola is a healthy girl with so much to give and of course she is ready to take as much love as a family can give.   If you are interested in this beauty please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   We can and will respond quickly.  She can be transported from Nashville, TN where she is staying, up to the northeastern states or just be adopted locally.  If you think you have the right place in life for this girl please email quickly or text 615-661-5333   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 13, 2026, 5:45 pm
