Story
Libby is about 2 years old and has the sweetest spirit. She’s a happy, outgoing girl who truly loves being around people and other dogs. She’s been very respectful around cats too, simply choosing to ignore them and go about her day. With her foster family, Libby hasn’t had a single accident in the house, so we believe she’s already housetrained. She’s been such a good girl and is settling into home life beautifully. Libby has had puppies in the past, but those days are behind her now. This mama is ready for a life where she gets to be the one cared for, loved, and spoiled. She’s given so much already and deserves a future filled with comfort and affection. Right now Libby is also being treated for Lyme disease, and she’s doing great while receiving the care she needs. She’s a strong, resilient girl with so much love still to give. Libby is ready for her next chapter — a forever home where she can be someone’s loyal companion, cuddle buddy, and best friend. Could that be with you? ##2677939##

Story
Mia is a sweet, shy girl. She was bought by a 70 year old woman from a Amish breeder as a 8 week old puppy. She was unaware of what she was getting into with this breed mixture. Mia is an energetic and playful pup that loves to do all the things. She is learning to be a good pup. She is scared around new friends but does warm in time to play with them. She likes to go for walks but needs to trust you when you take her out. She would excel with socialization and training classes. She would do good in a home with or without other animals. She loves people and kids. Mia is good with leash and house training. She is learning crate training. ##2679117##

Story
Help Tucker Find a Home! Tucker is our lovable 2.5-year-old Australian Shepherd/Lab mix who is full of personality, loyalty, affection and some anxiety. He is 63 lbs, neutered, house-trained, crate-trained, and great with kids and curious about other pets. Tucker is an active, intelligent dog who loves walks, running, playing catch, and spending time with his people, especially kids. Like many herding breeds, he can be protective at first, but he settles in and bonds deeply with his family. With a little bit of extra training here and there he truly will be best dog. We are looking for a loving home with space to run and someone who can give him the time, structure, and activity he thrives on.

Story
Rehoming Australian shepherd male 3 years old. Great dog. Listens and trained well. MUST go to someone who is able to give him emotional and physical attention and exercise several times EVERY DAY. He currently gets a half hour walk, and half hour fetch 4 out of 7 days, as well as 3 hours at dog park twice a month. MUST PROVIDE HIM MORE TIME THAN THIS. He is extremely needy- more than your average aussie. If you do not, he WILL act out and be bad, whine all day, etc. He needs to be the center of your world. He is extremely energetic, smart, and loyal. Would do great on a farm, is wonderful with kids of all ages, and all other animals including livestock. No health issues, vaccinated, fixed. Rehoming due to lack of sufficient time to give him. It breaks my heart to let him go but he needs more attention that I am able to give him. Must go to the right home! He currently has 7 unfenced acres and has free range. He wanders off but stays close.

Story
Meet Baron! 🐾 Baron is a remarkable young pup, just 1 year old and weighing 45 lbs, who’s ready to find his forever family. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Baron previously tested positive for a tick-borne disease but has since been fully treated. With a heart as big as the ocean, Baron is a true water dog—he loves cooling off by lounging in a doggy pool on warm days. He’s well-mannered, house-trained, and kennel-trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. Baron gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and having a canine companion in the household is actually preferred, as he opens up more quickly when he has another dog to bond with. Baron can be a bit shy at first, especially around men, and may take a few days to feel comfortable. A patient, understanding family will help him blossom into the loving companion he’s meant to be. Because of his gentle and reserved nature, we recommend a home with a fenced-in yard and older children who understand boundaries. While Baron isn’t overly active, he enjoys relaxing around the house, exploring the yard, and going on regular walks—he walks beautifully on a leash. Sweet, loyal, and full of potential, Baron is ready to grow and thrive with a family who will give him the time and love he deserves. Could you be the one Baron has been waiting for? Take the first step toward a lifetime of love and companionship by giving Baron the forever home he deserves. 💙 I'm being fostered in La Feria, TX but can be transported to any midwestern or northeastern state. Adoption fee is $500. Please apply to adopt here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ASHT/Dog
