Story
Meet Nova 🐾 Nova is a stunning 3.5-year-old red tri Australian Shepherd who will be turning 4 in August, with a big personality and an even bigger heart for her people. She is incredibly loving, deeply loyal, and forms strong bonds with her inner circle. Once you’re “her person,” she will shower you with affection and happily cuddle up any chance she gets. Nova is an active girl who thrives outdoors. She loves hiking, swimming, walks, playing frisbee and running off her energy, making her an ideal companion for someone with an active lifestyle. A home with land or a farm would be her dream, where she can stretch her legs and enjoy the space she craves. Nova is a smart dog who will do best with an experienced adopter who understands herding breeds and is committed to continued training. She requires structure, consistency, and plenty of mental and physical stimulation to truly thrive. She is crate trained and knows basic commands such as sit, down, place, touch, heel, and wait. Nov

Story
Meet Baron! 🐾 Baron is a remarkable young pup, just 1 year old and weighing 45 lbs, who’s ready to find his forever family. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Baron previously tested positive for a tick-borne disease but has since been fully treated. With a heart as big as the ocean, Baron is a true water dog—he loves cooling off by lounging in a doggy pool on warm days. He’s well-mannered, house-trained, and kennel-trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. Baron gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and having a canine companion in the household is actually preferred, as he opens up more quickly when he has another dog to bond with. Baron can be a bit shy at first, especially around men, and may take a few days to feel comfortable. A patient, understanding family will help him blossom into the loving companion he’s meant to be. Because of his gentle and reserved nature, we recommend a home with a fenced-in yard and older children who understand boundaries. While Baron isn’t overly active, he enjoys relaxing around the house, exploring the yard, and going on regular walks—he walks beautifully on a leash. Sweet, loyal, and full of potential, Baron is ready to grow and thrive with a family who will give him the time and love he deserves. Could you be the one Baron has been waiting for? Take the first step toward a lifetime of love and companionship by giving Baron the forever home he deserves. 💙 I'm being fostered in La Feria, TX but can be transported to any midwestern or northeastern state. Adoption fee is $500. Please apply to adopt here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ASHT/Dog

Story
Addie is smart, energetic, sweet, playful, quirky and loving. Unfortunately, she suddenly started attacking our cats unprovoked over the past year. She also has an issue with resource guarding, but this has been improving due to positive reinforcement. She has not been around many children, but she once nipped at a younger child running when she was 1yr due to her herding instinct. A friend of ours provoked an unsupervised level 3 bite from her in November 2024, and we went through reactive dog and in home training after. Despite this, she is occasionally still reactive, but she has not bitten anyone since. We are concerned with our cats’ safety, and the issue of us starting a family soon. Addie loves to show off all her tricks, play fetch, walk, run, swim, and cuddle. She would excel in agility or any working job. She would thrive in a home with people that love to stay active and can provide Addie with mental stimulation (no young children, maybe another dog). All her things included
