Story
URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Elk Mound, WI Atlas is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Atlas is nervous around strangers. He hasn’t been tested around older children. He is good with cats! No dogs or younger children, due to his reactivity! The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t do well with her younger children. He has to go by 4/28! If you think you can provide a great home for Atlas, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Atlas. Owner’s Contact Information: Tara Bettasso at (715) 450-1145 or tarabettasso@gmail.com.

Story
He was born November 2013 and we got him in February 2014. He will be 11 years old this November. Our family has grown since we got him and unfortunately we do not have the time to care for him in the way that he deserves. He has gotten set in his ways as he has aged, so we would like to see him go to a home that is quiet, without kids or cats. His herding instincts lead him to herd after cats and small children, which can make him quite anxious at times. He has been on a 4-acre hobby farm for the majority of his life as well, so he is accustomed to having lots of land to roam around in. He is leash trained so would do fine in a neighborhood setting too, but this would be an adjustment.

Story
Witcher is a sweet, four-year-old, neutered Australian Shepherd. He listens well, loves affection, and shows no aggression toward food or people. He would thrive in a home with no other dogs or just female dogs. He would do well with older children. He has high energy and needs walks or brain-stimulating toys to burn it off, but he also loves to chill on the couch with you. He's up-to-date on shots (paperwork available) and flea and tick prevention. Please let me know if you're interested or know someone who might be!
