Hi, I’m Ramona. A very spunky, feisty and cuddly multicolored pup with gorgeous eyes!! I’m fun pretty much all the way around, I love to play with all kinds of toys, love to play with dogs twice my size, I even try to make friends with cats but they don’t care for me. I’m spunky because I love to talk when I play. I’m feisty because I don’t let big dogs intimidate me, they rough house with me and I do it right back (silly goose’s didn’t expect my little self to be as courages as I am!!) I’m also very cuddly when it comes time to wind down and go to sleep, I will fall asleep by your shoulder or near the bottom of your legs. I love to play, eat and play some more. I’m currently learning sit too, I’m told I’m smart! My favorite thing at the moment are chew bones too! Ready for me to spice up your life? This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Odin is a 6 year old, neutered male black bi Australian Shepherd. He is 37 pounds, housebroke, good with cats, and likes people. He does pull on leash some, is well mannered in the house and can sit, down and shake. Odin is currently living in a foster with 6 other dogs with no issues. Odin was a transfer from a shelter in Iowa due to the fact that he has issues with body handling and needed some work in cooperative care to get him comfortable with grooming and vet visits. His foster has worked on muzzle training and desensitizing him to brushing. Odin is very treat motivated and loves his training sessions on the grooming table. All grooming except nail trimming can now be done with no drama. The details: Needs fence: no, has a great recall Good with dogs: yes, actively avoids conflict in house with 6 other dogs. Meet Marti! Marti is a 7 year old, neutered, double merle, male, who came to us almost completely feral. He is a slightly pudgy 40 pounds, crate trained, house broke and easy to live with. As he is double merle he has some vision issues and he doesn't like change and will bark a lot when strange people come to his house. Marti will need a very special owner that is willing to give him plenty of time to learn to trust. At his foster home Marti gets along with other dogs, is great with cats, and walks off leash in a rural setting. Marti is that lower energy aussie everyone's looking for and would like a quiet home. Marti will need more training in cooperative Care which his foster is working on and is easy to implement. At this time we take Marti in to the vet for a sedated groom and nail trim every 6 months. ARM is willing to pay for that for the first year of his adoption. Hook is a 2 1/2 year old, neutered male that is likely an aussie/border collie mix. He came in as an owner surrender with the 6 puppies from the Frosty litter, Cooper and Arthur. All have nice temperaments and the 3 adults, who had been outside dogs are easily learning to live inside. Hook is almost housetrained, learning to walk on a leash, sleeps quietly in his crate, comes when called and is calm in the house. He doesn't bother the cats and has been good with the other dogs in his foster home. Say hi to Lucy! Lucy is a stunning blue merle spayed female, with stunning brown eyes, with one having just a slice of vivid blue on the upper part of her left eye. She is 40 lbs of fluff and love. Lucy arrived to rescue as an owner surrender and is eager to find her new home! Lucy is a shy, loving girl who is adjusting to life in rescue - she is very sweet to people and is tolerant towards her new foster diblings. We do think that she'd be very content as the only dog or a dibling that is calm and laid-back. Her fosters share that Lucy does show some tendency to want to resource guard her preferred human from the other dogs, but is quickly & easily redirected and it's improving. This is likely attributed to Lucy still adjusting to life in rescue and learning the new expectations of her foster home. Additionally, Lucy is crate trained and housebroken, and shows to be a very smart, bright girl. So far on walks, Lucy does not pull and checks in nicely with her walker. Because Lucy is a bit shy, her ideal home would be somewhere where there's not a lot of comings and goings in the home and she can spend her days snuggling with her family. It is currently recommended that she'd have a fence as she can be a bit skittish and her first instinct is to flee and hide.
