He came to us severely underweight and unsocialized after spending most of his life outdoors with little positive human interaction. 🐾 Excellent with dogs — they are his greatest source of comfort 🐱 Great with cats — ignores them completely ❤️ Very submissive, quiet, and gentle 🥺 Fearful of people but has never shown aggression 🏡 Learning house manners and leash skills 🍽️ Doing much better with softened food while he recovers 🩺 Currently undergoing heartworm treatment Jack needs a quiet, patient, experienced home, preferably with a confident, friendly dog to help show him the ropes. He doesn’t need to be rushed—he needs someone willing to give him time, space, and patience while he learns that people can be trusted. Jack is not broken. He’s just finally getting the chance to learn what love and safety feel like.

Yala is a beautiful and sweet miniature Australian shepherd. He was purchased by us from Puppy Dreams as a puppy. He is three years old. He is energetic and loves to run and play. He lives outside all year but he would probably love to be an inside-outside dog. He does need plenty of exercise and space to run. He is very loving and cuddly. He is great with kids. We have four kids ages 10, 8, 5, and 1 and he is great with all of them. He chases our cats for fun but never harms them and then you'll find them snuggling together. We have his papers from Puppy Dreams. I don't know if he is house trained or not because he stays outside. We let him in for short periods of time. We are rehoming Yale because we are about to have a fifth kid. Yale does not stay in his invisible fence and we can't have him in the house because of allergies. I feel bad that Yala wants more love and attention than we have to give.
