Hi, I’m Jax! I’m a gorgeous, black tri Australian Shepherd who’s been taken great care of my whole life. My vet records are pristine, and I am up to date on medical care. I go to daycare to have fun with my dog pals, and I’ve had some basic training. Being an Aussie, I’m super smart, and I’d thrive with an active family that loves adventures. I could definitely use someone who wants to keep up with me, whether it’s more daycare, hikes, or just exploring new places! At the end of the day, I just want to be with my family. I am a Velcro dog and enjoy being with and cuddling with my people. I’ve lived with small children and have been great with them. I also get along well with other dogs and tend to ignore cats, so I’m pretty adaptable in different living situations. I’m house-trained and crate-trained, which means I’m ready to settle into a new routine with ease. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic, and smart dog to join your family, I’d love to meet you. He is so lovable and never meets a stranger.  Cosmo needs a loving home for sure, but he also needs a indoor foster home. Please give this big sweetheart a loving place to stay!    Thank you for considering adopting a new family member. Memphis area adoption fee is $200      All dogs are spayed or neutered {unless medical issues prohibit the surgery}, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested {if old enough} and treated if necessary. They also are de-wormed and start heartworm and flea prevention when rescued. It is continued until adopted. Adopter is furnished with their 1st month's heartworm prevention. ** Out of State adoption fee is $425  and includes a $150.00 the non refundable transportation fee paid to an approved animal transportation company. Several states require the dog to be quarantined 48 hours before pickup. The adopter pays the quarantine fee at time of pick up. You cheddar believe they will brie your friend forever! Meet our Cheese litter. They are 5 sweet girls that were found abandoned on the side of the road in Mississippi by one of our supporters. Feta, Mozzarella, Cheddar, Gouda & Swiss are typical, happy Border Collie/ Puggle mix puppies that just want treats, toys and lots of love. Mozzarella can be a bit timid at first but warms up quickly. She likes to give hugs and cuddles really well. She is not as toy driven as her siblings but loves treats. Their daily routine includes breakfast, lunch and dinner with playtime, potty breaks and naps in between. They think this is the life and would like to continue in their new home. They have been working on house training, crate training, and general manners and doing well. They will need a family that understands they are still puppies and will needs continued patience and training in all areas. They are excitable and bouncy at times, and could potentially get under their feet. ADOPTION INFORMATION: We are a foster-based animal rescue and we thank you for your interest in one of our animals. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need.
