Story
Updated 26Jan26 Jack Status: Available for Foster or Adoption Placement Type: Patient, experienced home recommended About Me Jack is a gentle, deeply sensitive boy who is just beginning to learn what safety feels like. He came from a very difficult situation and was found severely underweight, fearful, and unsocialized, having spent most of his life outdoors with minimal positive human interaction. Because of this, Jack is still learning how to trust people — but he already knows how to trust other dogs, and they are his greatest source of comfort. Despite everything he’s endured, Jack is kind, quiet, and cooperative. He is not broken — he simply never had the chance to learn that people can be safe. Personality Jack is extremely submissive, soft-natured, and gentle. He does not bark, avoids confrontation, and startles easily. Around people, he often keeps his head down and avoids eye contact — not out of aggression, but fear. Encouragingly, Jack has already shown small signs of progress, including his first tiny tail-nub wag — a big milestone that shows he is beginning to feel safe. Socialization Dogs: Excellent. Jack thrives with calm, confident dogs and gains confidence by following their lead. He plays appropriately and feels most comfortable as part of a pack. Cats: Great with cats. He shows no prey drive and ignores them completely. People: Fearful but very gentle. Jack has never shown aggression and responds best to patience, space, and low-pressure interaction. Training & House Manners Jack is not yet potty trained and is learning indoor routines for the first time. He is currently using a crate and puppy pads as he adjusts to life inside a home. He is not leash trained yet and requires slow, gentle handling. Everything about home life is new to him — but he is trying. Medical Notes Jack arrived very underweight and extremely hungry. He has significant tartar buildup on his back teeth with gum irritation, which made chewing hard food painful. He is doing much better on softened food, and his comfort has already improved. His teeth are scheduled to be professionally cleaned by the veterinary team. Jack is also currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which is being managed under veterinary guidance. He is otherwise stable and resting well as his body begins to recover. Energy Level Low to moderate. Jack is decompressing and spends much of his time resting. He does best in calm, predictable environments. Ideal Home Jack needs a quiet, patient home with: At least one confident, friendly dog Humans experienced with fearful or undersocialized dogs No pressure for affection A calm, structured environment Jack may not seek attention right away, but he forms quiet, meaningful bonds once he feels safe.

Story
Meet Nash 🐾Nash is a 6-year-old, house-trained pup looking for a loving forever home. He’s currently living with two other dogs—one larger and one smaller—and does well in a multi-dog household.Nash is a sweet and friendly dog, but he can be a little shy at first and may take some time to warm up to new people. Once he feels comfortable, his personality really shines and he becomes a loyal, affectionate companion. He came to us after being removed from his previous owner, and we’ve been long term fostering him while he gets ready for his next chapter. Because of his background, he would do best with a patient adopter who can give him time to adjust and feel secure.Nash hasn’t had much experience around young children, so a home with older kids or adults would likely be the best fit.If you’re looking for a loving dog who just needs a little time and understanding to settle in, Nash could be the perfect match for you 🤍

Story
Quinn is a beautiful 1.5 year-old, 40 pound, Australian Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. This sweet girl is fully house-trained and leash-trained, and she adores her foster mom so much that she loves curling up beside her, Quinn is happiest when she’s close to her people that she trust.  Quinn gets excited about all of life’s best things—mealtime, car rides, and getting attention from her favorite humans. She’s well-behaved when she can tag along to work or snooze comfortably in the bedroom while her fosters go to work or run an errand. A bit of a loner at heart, Quinn so picks and chooses when she plays with toys or playing with other dogs. Instead, she enjoys a calmer lifestyle with occasional bursts of energy (yes, she does have a zoomie now and then when out enjoying the backyard!). When she’s had her fill of social time, she’ll quietly retreat to the bedroom to recharge. Quinn cuddles/sleeps in the bed with her foster mom most nights, but also enjoys her own special time in her dog bed. Quinn is a bit of a weirdo and likes to sleep under the king size bed. When you can’t find Quinn on the bed she will definitely be under it. Quinn lives in a foster home with cats. She is gentle with the cats, does like to play with the more outgoing cats around. Quinn has always been gentle with younger dogs especially foster puppies in her home, but doesn’t have much experience with adult dogs or young children.  She is an easy, affectionate, and wonderfully gentle girl who simply wants to be loved. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who will adore you endlessly, Quinn might be your perfect match. She is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations.  Her local adoption fee is $300 for adoptions within the Memphis, TN tristate area.   Quinn’s out of state/not local to Memphis, TN tristate area adoption fee is $600 and includes the transport to states like PA, CT, NJ, MD, & VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Quinn up north to her new family.  Apply to adopt her today!   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Quinn here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net      THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
I picked Chile up when he was 3 months old in Missouri from the breeder. He's from a pure line and I do have papers, I never registered him though. His birthday is March 4, 2021. He's a very sweet and loving boy. He's energetic, smart and loves attention. He has been around his cousin (Koda who is 4, birthday is November 11, 2021) since his cousin was born. They are 8 months apart and are attached to each other. I would prefer that they stay together so the re-homing process is not so hard on them and on me. I have really tried with all my being to keep them but my medical condition is just too much for me and it's making it worse.

Story
I bought Koda from his breeder in Missouri. I have papers on him but I never registered him. I brought him home at 6 weeks. He's 4 and his birthday is November 11, 2021. He's a very energetic and playful boy. He's very sweet and loving and always happy. He has been around his cousin since I brought him home. His cousin is a red tri named Chile, he's on here as well to be re-homed. But I would absolutely love for the 2 of them to stay together. They have never been separated and are very close/attached to each other. This is absolutely so hard for me to do but my medical condition will not be getting better and it's getting harder for me. I pray that the right person/family will love these boys as much as I do and they will have a very happy loving life.
