Story
Hello! If you're not curious about my breed from my handsome photos, I had my doggie DNA done, but they forgot to emphasize the SUPER when it comes to supermutt. I even come trained! I stay in my kennel when my foster is away and even go in on my own, even if I don't prefer it. I sometimes get a little anxious and nervous and prefer slow introductions to new people and other dogs. Now I play with my foster brother and sister who are both smaller than me, but sometimes one of them is a little extra and then I need my space. I would like to have a yard to adventure and sniff around in. I get very excited when I see my leash and would make a good walking buddy. Two of my favorite things are fetching tennis balls and lounging on the top of the couch. I'd very much like to have a home with a fenced yard and a family or person that doesn't have a lot of commotion. Ramsay is a "Supermutt"! His DNA shows he is a mix of Basset Hound/American Pit Bull Terrier/Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog/Beagle. He was was born 1-23-19 and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. Jax (Jackie) is a very active puppy and will require an experienced adopter. He is working on his house training, as he is easily distracted by his energy! He loves to run in a secure yard with obstacles and friends to chase and be chased by. He has beautiful blue eyes, but it's hard to capture while he on the move. Will post better pictures when we get them!

Story
Goku is a family dog, very smart and loyal. He is great with small kids, cats, other dogs and loves to just be glued to you. He is ever so curious about your whereabouts and loves long walks and just being by your side. As far as his story goes, he was found at a farm past Malvern, Iowa. Someone had dropped him off in the middle of the countryside and a kind farmer asked us if we wanted him. Of course we said yes. That same day, we took him to the Vet, got him all of his necessary shots and did a wellness check. They were so thorough with a heartworm test and did a full check up. We unfortunately are moving due to my wife accepting another position out of state. Our new apartment does not accept pets and sadly we have to reach out in order to rehome him. We will need to have him adopted out no later than the end of the month. He is a great family dog and we would love to get him settled in. Free to a good home.

Story
Bingo is a lovable bundle of joy who brings immense happiness to everyone around him. This sweet boy loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s going on walks, runs, or hikes. He’s a natural explorer and thrives in environments where he can sniff, chase, and play to his heart’s content. Bingo is incredibly patient with kids and makes a great companion for families. However, it’s essential to note that he has a limit to his physical play time and may not appreciate overly rough or boisterous interactions. A gentle and respectful approach is always best when interacting with any animal. One thing you should know about Bingo is that he can be a bit of a chatterbox when outside. It’s just one of his charming quirks that make him all the more lovable. He’s a quick learner and responds well to positive reinforcement training. I'm committed to finding the perfect home and to ensure he’s in a loving and suitable environment, I will require an in-person meeting followed by an in-home visit.

Story
Sy is a happy and playful dog. She loves to explore in the yard and gives excellent kisses. She is very food and treat motivated so training has been great! She can be a little shy at first but once she gets a couple sniffs in you'll be best friends. She is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. Sy is fully potty trained and has the basics down!   She is about a year old and 35lbs.   To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $200 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs.  We do not ship dogs.   All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first. We are all volunteers that work so we can not easily take or make phone calls.October 7, 2024, 4:27 pm

Story
**Meet Penny 🐾** Penny is a loyal, protective dog who’s been a great companion and watch dog. Due to a move and health challenges, we’re looking for a new home where she can thrive. Here’s what you need to know about Penny: - 🐕 **Current Home**: Lives with an older, laid-back King Charles Cavalier – they get along great! - 🐱 **Cats**: Penny has lived with two cats. She was fine with one, but didn’t get along with the other. If she feels threatened by hissing or clawing, she may react aggressively. - 💔 **Background**: Penny shows signs of past abuse, but also of professional training. She’s resilient and ready for a fresh start. - 🧠 **Personality**: Smart, trainable, and eager to learn. Penny will thrive with structure and care in a loving home. - 🔒 **Best Fit**: She’d do well in a home where her protective instincts can be appreciated and interactions with other pets are managed. Penny is looking for a loving, structured environment where she can be your loyal companion!

Story
My name is Bessie and my foster mom says I am the sweetest girl ever! I am bashful and shy at first but willing to become friends. I have two big dogs in my foster home and I love being their shadow and hanging out with them everywhere they go. I would really like my forever home to have another dog in it to play with me and help me build my confidence. I am submissive and would likely follow the lead of any confident dog. I love to be outside and wander the backyard- bonus if you have a squeaky ball I can fetch. I’ve just started doing zoomies and boy are those fun! I am still pretty scared of being on a leash, so a fenced yard is required in my new home to keep me safe. I am housetrained and kennel trained. I sleep all night without a peep. I love my kennel, it’s my safe space. I am a little nervous in the car but sit very nicely and calm. I like the older kids in my foster home, it’s fun when they play ball with me or give me treats. And they brush me which I really like. I think little kids would scare me as they are a bit more unpredictable and noisy. I am doing very well adjusting to all the new things in my foster home. My foster mom says I am such a good girl and very smart. I would love to find a forever home that will be patient and help me continue to come out of my shell, could that be you?
