Story
Toby is a smart, energetic dog. He loves to play fetch, to run and he LOVES to swim. We recently expanded our family and, unfortunately, at the same time, Toby’s human dad was diagnosed with serious health issues that have prevented us from giving him the exercise and attention he deserves.

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Bellevue, NE Meet Tina! She is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix and weighs 45 lbs. She is spayed and has an appointment in late August to get up to date on shots, but she isn’t on heartworm prevention. Tina is good with kids and farm animals! She hasn’t been tested around cats or other dogs, but is good with the dogs inside the home! Tina is housebroken and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering her because their daughter is allergic. They also can’t provide the time and attention that Tina needs. She needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Tina, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Tina. Owner’s Contact Information: Katy at katyzarraga@gmail.com.

Remi Jean is 4yrs old, she is an inside dog only. She is very friendly. But is scare of thunderstorms, she has no issues with kids, she gets along with cats. She does have issues with some other dogs not horrible but would be best if she was the only dog. We don’t really want to rehome her but human medical issues have come up. We would like for her to go to a loving home, will be particularly about placing her.

Story
Hello! If you're not curious about my breed from my handsome photos, I had my doggie DNA done, but they forgot to emphasize the SUPER when it comes to supermutt. I even come trained! I stay in my kennel when my foster is away and even go in on my own, even if I don't prefer it. I sometimes get a little anxious and nervous and prefer slow introductions to new people and other dogs. Now I play with my foster brother and sister who are both smaller than me, but sometimes one of them is a little extra and then I need my space. I would like to have a yard to adventure and sniff around in. I get very excited when I see my leash and would make a good walking buddy. Two of my favorite things are fetching tennis balls and lounging on the top of the couch. I'd very much like to have a home with a fenced yard and a family or person that doesn't have a lot of commotion. Ramsay is a "Supermutt"! His DNA shows he is a mix of Basset Hound/American Pit Bull Terrier/Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog/Beagle. He was was born 1-23-19 and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. If interested in adopting one of our available dogs or puppies, you must first complete an online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will be contacted by our adoption coordinator via email after your application has been reviewed & approved to schedule an appointment. Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Lincoln, NE Meet Zuko! He is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 40 lbs. He is neutered, but isn’t up to date on shots or on heartworm prevention. Zuko is fearful of strangers! He is good with kids! He hasn’t been tested around cats. No dogs, due to his reactivity! He previously belonged to the owner’s parents, but they are no longer able to care for him. The owner is surrendering him because she moved away and is unable to take care of him permanently. Story
Meet Rosa, an Australian shepherd-blue heeler mix, born in March 2015. She is house trained, kennel trained, cat friendly and knows a few commands, including: sit, stay and lay down. Rosa seems okay with school-aged children, and even though she lived with another dog previously, we think she would enjoy being an only dog. She is playful and enjoys her squeaky toys, but overall has a lower energy level. Her foster mom describes her as loyal, sweet and protective. Rosa respects boundaries, like the kitchen, and will only enter when given permission. Two of her favorite things in life include going for walks and riding in the car. She’s had some training in the past and we’re willing to pay for additional sessions, especially if we can find an adopter who lives in or near Lincoln. Rosa is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested and weighs 49 lbs. Our suggested adoption donation for Rosa is $200 and our life-time support option is included.
