Story
Look at this delicious sweet little 4.5 pound nugget!  Pistachio (Stash) is a 2 month old darling  Australian Shepherd mix with an unknown father. This little baby was surrendered to a shelter but he's happy, healthy and ready to find his forever family.  Stach loves chasing balls, toys, playing with other dogs and food...lots and lots of food in his belly until fully loaded! Besides people and dog friendly he is also kid friendly. Pistachio loves to please his people and is hard at work on potty pad training until he has all of his shots on board.  This smart little guy also sleeps in his kennel at night! Stach would love an active family that's ready to burn off some puppy energy with him so he can curl in for some couch time!  ADOPTION DONATION: $450 *ALL DOGS MUST BE INSIDE COMPANION ANIMALS! They must all be trained with positive reward based training and all are all up to date with vaccinations, altered, microchipped, HeartWorm tested, and on preventatives. PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.  Thank you for choosing adoption!! February 8, 2026, 1:04 am

Story
Very loveable dog. She is very active, but can be a cuddler. She loves kids. She does bark at night(we think she's scared of the dark, but once inside she calms right down). She responds very well to her name. Overall a great dog.
