She could be so scared hiding in the corner at first, once she realizes the kindness from people she will transform into a cuddler, yearning to rub on you, follow you around, and shower you with kisses😽. Beautiful Zelda is like a cute little brown bear seeking love and attention. She doesn’t mind other dogs, super friendly when interacting with them. Zelda has been spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines. The gorgeous little Princess😻 is waiting to meet you so get your application in ASAP! Currently being cared in Southern California, Zelda can be transported to northern states such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or other locations within the continental United States, where a loving experienced family awaits to welcome her.

Maxxie is a handsome 2-year-old Border Collie mix with possible Australian Shepherd and long-haired terrier in his mix. He is a fun, energetic young dog who loves car rides, playing fetch, and showing off the tricks he knows, including sit, lay down, paw, wait, and come.Maxxie can be cautious when meeting other dogs and may take some time to warm up. Because of his history and recent challenges with another dog in his previous home, we believe Maxxie would do best as the only dog in his home or with other more confident dogs.Maxxie has also lived with young children and was described as cautious and gentle with them inside the home. We do believe he would do best with older kids.Maxxie came to Boxers and Buddies after his family realized they were no longer able to provide the structure and attention he needed. He has had a couple of incidents involving biting when he was being disciplined or handled by his groomer. Neither incident broke the skin, but this history is important for his future family to understand.He is still a young dog with plenty of energy and a lot of potential. Maxxie will need an experienced adopter who is committed to positive training, consistency, and helping him learn appropriate ways to handle situations that make him uncomfortable. He has never had professional obedience training, so continued training will be an important part of helping him succeed.Maxxie is playful, smart, and loves having something to do. He would thrive with someone who enjoys an active dog, will give him plenty of positive outlets, and is willing to help him continue learning. He deserves a fresh start and a family who will give him the patience, structure, and second chance he needs.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions. Newt is a big, goofy, affectionate 2-year-old, 80-lb. good boy who we believe is a Great Pyrenees mix, possibly with Husky or Aussie. He’s incredibly smart, eager to please, crate-trained, knows basic commands, and has completed obedience training.Newt has lived happily with our toddler and cat. He has never bitten, snapped at, or shown aggression toward a person or animal. His biggest challenges are excitement, anxiety, and impulse control. He can pull or lunge toward people and dogs on walks and sometimes approaches unfamiliar men barking, which can be intimidating given his size.Newt loves being with his people and has never tried to escape our fenced yard. We think he would thrive with an experienced, active owner who can provide consistency, exercise, structure, and continued training. He has so much potential, and we’re committed to finding him the right home where he can truly thrive.
