Otis was born in April 2024. He is a loyal, goofy protector with a huge heart. He’s grown out of the wildest parts of puppyhood and has started to mellow, but he’s still a high-energy guy who loves movement, adventure, and being right in the middle of things. He can be a bit cautious with new experiences, but once he understands what’s happening, he jumps in with enthusiasm.Due to a change in our family’s circumstances, we’re making this decision out of love and a desire to fully meet Otis’s needs.Strengths:Great with kidsGreat with other dogs and catsFully crate trained and house/potty trainedKnows basic commands (sit, stay, lay down) and learns quicklyAffectionate, social, and happyNeeds help with leash skills and recall.We live in the Bay Area but we want Otis to find a home somewhere with A LOT of nature - he needs regular physical activity- we’ll happily drive him to Tahoe/Truckee area for the right family. Otis would do really well with an older (dog) brother or sister!

Despite the husband's patient and loving approach, Dutch remains wary, prompting his family to consider finding a new home where he can thrive without fear. With his current family, Dutch has formed strong bonds with the wife and kids, who adore him dearly, but they've come to realize that a woman-only household might be the perfect solution for Dutch to live a stress-free life. His family believes Dutch may have had a negative experience with a man in the past, which has led to his hesitation around men unless they exhibit familiar characteristics. Importantly, Dutch has never shown aggression and is great with cats and other dogs, making him an excellent addition to any household. He's potty-trained, crate-trained, and loves spending time in his crate and bed.
