I’m not looking to simply give him away to the first person who asks. I will be selective about where he goes because I want to know that he is going to a safe, loving, committed home.A little about my boy:Birthday: June 12th 🐾🐶 Black Lab/Australian Shepherd mix 💙 Not neutered👧 Great with children🐕 Not good with male dogs, so he would do best as the only male dog. Fine with small dogs. 🐱 Unknown with cats🏡 Needs a home with a yard. 🎾 LOVES toys, fetch and playing, and being in the water! Knows basic commands. Sit. Lay. Newt is a big, goofy, affectionate 2-year-old, 80-lb. good boy who we believe is a Great Pyrenees mix, possibly with Husky or Aussie. He’s incredibly smart, eager to please, crate-trained, knows basic commands, and has completed obedience training.Newt has lived happily with our toddler and cat. He has never bitten, snapped at, or shown aggression toward a person or animal. His biggest challenges are excitement, anxiety, and impulse control. He can pull or lunge toward people and dogs on walks and sometimes approaches unfamiliar men barking, which can be intimidating given his size.Newt loves being with his people and has never tried to escape our fenced yard. We think he would thrive with an experienced, active owner who can provide consistency, exercise, structure, and continued training. He has so much potential, and we’re committed to finding him the right home where he can truly thrive.

Basil is a 3-year-old Brittany/Australian Shepherd mix who is a really sweet dog but has high attention needs. We adopted him as a puppy and have loved him a lot, but since having a child and with another on the way, his energy levels have become difficult to manage in our home. It is very difficult for us, but we feel it’s in both his and our best interests to find him a home where he can get the exercise and attention he thrives on.Basil is:• A sweet dog with high attention needs• Mostly past his previous chewing issues• High-energy and loves to let off steam• Much better behaved after running around• Pulls on the leash and needs re-trainingBasil is a wonderful companion for someone who has the time to provide regular attention and ideally a yard where he can run. We are looking for an experienced adopter who can continue his training and give him the loving care he deserves.💰 Rehoming fee: $50
