The horse was not a "secret person" and responded with a swift kick to the face that would have sent a lesser dog to the moon. Why the Name? She was named "Ugly" with love—mostly because after a car and a horse were through with her, she looked a little like a DIY project that was missing the instructions. But don't let the name fool you; she has the "inner beauty" of a thousand Miss Universes and the outer charm of a very lovable, slightly lopsided cartoon character. Personality & Social Life: Ugly is the most popular girl at the party. Having survived high-speed metal and heavy-duty hooves, she has decided that life is too short to be anything but incredibly friendly. Horses: She holds no grudges. She thinks of them as oversized, grumpy dogs who just need a friend. Pigs & Cows: She’s the self-appointed ambassador to the pasture. She speaks fluent "Oink" and "Moo" and is currently campaigning to be the first dog elected to the Barnyard Council.
