Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Cody.  He is simply gorgeous!  He is about 3 years old, up to date on vaccinations, has been neutered. He is Lyme positive and is on medication for that.  When he arrived his fur was overgrown and he was a matted mess.  We have gotten him shaved and he is so handsome now.  He is very clingy to you.  He doesn't like other dogs.  Cats don't seem to bother him.  He was house trained at one time, then he was tied outside and forgotten about basically.   He is new to us, so we will update as we get to know him better. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 13, 2026, 2:04 pm

Story
Butterscotch was born 2/10/26 with one underdeveloped eye. It doesn’t bother her one bit and doesn’t slow her down at all—she’s your typical happy, playful, fun-loving puppy. She is working on house, crate and leash training. Our vet has confirmed it’s purely cosmetic and does not need removal at this time. The adoption fee covers the spayed at our vet, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing. If you are out of the area, you would be responsible to complete the vetting that has not been completed by the time of adoption. You can apply on our website:https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html  ***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries. Please remember that  we are 100 % entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. So be patient with us and check out our Facebook page for more information and photo updates: facebook.com/trhap2014Apply at https://theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form/

Layla knows her name but she really is Patches, put together with odd parts. Her ears don't match, her eyes don't match, and her nose is too long, but other than that she is beautiful with a thick dark chocolate wavy coat. Age about 8 months. Expected adult weight about 60 pounds. She is a happy, obedient girl with a lot of puppy energy. She loves  all people and will clown around for attention. She likes to look at birds in the sky. She prefers to be the only dog in the room. Fee $150. Apply at morganspot.org. May 15, 2026, 7:08 am

Story
Leuke is a mini Aussie! I got leuke from my best friend who was trying to find him a home (due to moving), we had previously adopted Leukes son and thought it’d be good to have them together, they have previously gotten along. He is 3 years old and we’ve had him for about 5 months Leuke seems to do fine with our cats, but he’s gotten very territorial with my other male dog (his son) We were told he had mild food aggression, it’s seems to be more moderate. Growling when any of the animals get close, and sometimes snipping at them, he does well with cage feeding and feeding separately from other animals. He does seem to get stressed around younger children, but does well around my 10 year old. He is really a very friendly dog, very loyal, and wants nothing but lovins and attention. He would just do best in a slower environment with lots of room to run.
