Meet KALI LAYNE 🐾 5 years old | Aussie Doodle | 35 pounds Say hello to Kali Layne, a beautiful girl who is ready to find her forever family ❤️ Kali is a loving, outgoing girl who absolutely adores her people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She loves attention and getting petted—and if you happen to stop before she is ready, don’t worry… Kali will sweetly remind you that she’s not done being loved on yet! 🥰 Kali loves watching squirrels and birds, and while toys haven’t quite caught her interest yet, she has been seen pawing on a chew bone. We think there is plenty of time for her to discover the fun toys can bring!! 🦴 🧸 Kali walks beautifully on a leash with no pulling, making her a wonderful companion for walks & adventures. She has not been around children yet, but based on her loving and social personality, we don’t anticipate any issues. Kali is crate trained! She hasn’t had any accidents in the house so far! She has not been around cats! Kali did have to be shaved down when she came to her foster home, so we assured her that her forever family will keep her groomed and smelling pretty forever 💕 Kali did test positive for Lyme disease, so her forever family will need to continue working with their veterinarian to ensure she receives any follow up care recommended. This is Dave the dog. I got him just after Christmas 2023 when I got out of the Army. He has been a very good companion since then. However, recently I have become engaged and my Fiancé is very allergic to him. So far, every remedy we have tried has not worked, so we are onto the last resort, rehoming him. I am sad to see him go but all I hope is he goes to someone with more free time, space, and energy for him. Unfortunately, I work a lot and so does my fiancé, so he doesn't get a lot of time with us, and my yard is too small for him. He is a very sweet and extremely energetic dog. He loves pig ears, belly rubs, socks (his favorite toy, I have tried and failed to break him out of this), and our cats. He does have separation anxiety; however, he is crate trained and the kennel is the only way I have found to ease his anxiety when I leave the house. If I find an adopter, you will get anything I have including toys and blankets (washed of course), his large kennel, his small kennel, etc.

This is Senna. She is a very sweet girl, she is 5 years old and LOVES to cuddle and be everywhere with you. I’m looking to rehome her as I have a toddler and it’s a bit too much going on with our current family dynamic. She would do best in a home with older children. She has grown up around cats and other dogs. I think she would prefer to be the only dog as she has shown dominant behavior at times with other dogs. However does great with cats. Puma (Photos 8/20/2026)

Story

Puma is a handsome 2-year old male Australian Shepherd/Husky mix who was brought to the HSOV on August 20th 2026 by an individual who found him on State Route 821 (between Interstate-77 and State Route 60 in Washington County Ohio). Puma was accompanied by his two younger companions (Badger and Jackal) who are surely his relatives. All three of the boys were wearing a collar, but there was neither an ID tag nor a dog license tag on their collars ... And they were not microchipped. Puma has a black-and-tan medium/longhaired coat with cream-colored markings on his throat/chest, a long extra fluffy tail, and an adorable black Shepherd/Husky face with brown eyes, tan eyebrows, a black button nose, a slender muzzle, and large erect ears. Puma and his relatives all have incredible extra-fluffy tails (the largest fluffiest tails we've ever seen by far .. almost as if they were sporting hair extensions to enhance the length and volume of their tails) (smile). But we can vouch for the boys and report that their tails are indeed natural with no fake extensions. Thanks to HSOV Volunteer Angel Grosklos for accompanying Puma for his outdoor photo session. Puma posed beautifully for several pictures although he was really interested in keeping an eye on his younger relatives and gently asking Angel to take him for a walk too. We took a few 'group photos' of the three boys together after their photo sessions and, surprisingly, they were all looking at the camera in a couple of the pictures. Puma weighs 42.4 lbs. Puma didn't seem accustomed to walking on a leash but he quickly learned that new skill when Angel took him for a short walk before returning to his floor crate in the garage area. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Puma and his siblings will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that their family will have an opportunity to reclaim them with proof of ownership.
