Meet Bronco!If you're looking for a handsome adventure buddy with a fluffy coat and a big personality, Bronco might be your guy.Bronco is an almost 3-year-old, 56-pound Australian Shepherdtype mix who combines good looks with an affectionate and playful personality. His previous owner listed him as an Australian Shepherd, and while he may be a mix (we wouldnt be surprised if theres a little Golden Retriever or another herding breed in there), he definitely shares that breeds intelligence, energy, and love of being involved with his people.Bronco enjoys walks, exploring outdoors, and riding in the car where he settles in nicely for the trip. He is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and already knows how to sit especially when treats are involved! Like many smart dogs, hes very treat-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding.During his recent photo session, Bronco showed both sides of his personality. He was a little shy at first, but it didnt take long before he warmed up running right over to one of our volunteers for pets and attention as if they were old friends. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate side really shines.Bronco loves being part of the action and bonds closely with his people. He would do best in a home where he gets plenty of companionship, exercise, and things to keep his clever mind busy. Because he has enthusiasm for life, he would likely thrive in a house with space to play rather than an apartment, and while he enjoys kids, his energy may be best suited for families with older children.Bronco can get along with other dogs, though like many dogs he can be a bit selective about his friends, preferring dogs whose personalities match his play style. Raccoon is a cute 4-month old male Australian Shepherd/Husky mix puppy who was brought to the HSOV on February 11, 2026 along with his four siblings (Buck, Foxy, Groundhog, and Kitty) after they were found on Straight Run Road in the Lowell Ohio area. Raccoon has a tricolor medium-haired coat with a unique black/white pattern on his chest/belly, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark brown eyes, tan eyebrows, a white/cream-colored muzzle, and short floppy ears. Raccoon weighed 22 lbs when he entered our shelter on February 11th. Raccoon and his brothers/sisters are all about fun-and-games at this young stage of their lives :) They love to engage in silly puppy games .. They sometimes play rough .. but they always love each other to curl up with for a group nap afterwards. Raccoon and his siblings will be spayed/neutered before they are officially adopted. They could be fostered-to-adopt while they are awaiting those procedures with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application.

Groundhog is a handsome 4-month old male Australian Shepherd/Husky mix puppy who was brought to the HSOV on February 11, 2026 along with his four siblings (Buck, Foxy, Kitty, and Raccoon) after they were found on Straight Run Road in the Lowell Ohio area fending for themselves. Groundhog has a medium-haired tricolor coat, a long tail, and a beautiful face with blue eyes, a white stripe on his forehead, a white muzzle, and floppy ears which are fringed with fuzzy curls. Groundhog weighed 22 lbs when he entered our shelter on February 11th. Groundhog and his brothers/sisters are full of playful puppy energy and love to engage in silly puppy games before they crash for a group nap.. Groundhog and his siblings will be spayed/neutered before being officially adopted.
