Meet Sienna, a gorgeous female red aussie mix weighing 34 lbs. She's estimated to be 1 year old and has lots of energy and she plays with the cats in her foster home. She chases anything that runs from her though so if you have cats, they need to be comfortable around dogs and not run off. Aussies are herding dogs. Sienna is good with other dogs and would be ideal if she had a playmate (canine, feline or human) as she's got lots of energy and playfulness. She is such a loyal and loving companion. Sienna is spayed, microchipped, negative for heartworm and up to date on vaccines. Bella has been loved. You can see it in her eyes. At 3 years old, Bella gets along with kids, dogs, cats… honestly, everyone. She is gentle, sensitive, and has the kind of quiet, beautiful soul that doesn't come around every day. Her family loved her dearly, but a serious illness forced them to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender her. It wasn't because they didn't want her. It was because they wanted what was best for her. And now, after losing everything she has ever known, Bella deserves more than just another home. She deserves the right home. Maggie is a beautiful 13-year old female Australian Shepherd mix who was surrendered to HSOV on June 12, 2026 for a very sad reason since her beloved owner was no longer able to physically take care of Maggie. Maggie has a white/gray/tan shorthaired coat, a long tail, and an adorable w symmetrically-marked white/palel gray face with sky blue eyes, a gray/blue nose, and short floppy ears. This senior citizen has a docile, easygoing personality. Maggie may have some of the physical impairments which often come with the privilege of growing older, and she appears to be hearing-impaired (or perhaps she is simply ignoring our conversations) (smile). Maggie weighs approximately 50 lbs. These photos were taken on June 16th 2026 when HSOV Volunteer Jennie Sherrard accompanied Maggie outdoors for a bathroom break and a few glamour pictures. Maggie is currently being housed in our front office where she enjoys a plush soft bed so that she doesn't have to be in a kennel or floor crate. Maggie is sharing the office with a dog-friendly cat, and they are co-existing just fine. As nice as her large bed/temporary office home might be, what Maggie really dreams of is to be back in a real home again with someone to love her. Maggie could be fostered or fostered-to-adopt with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application.

Welcome the “Friends” Pups! Aussie Mixes DOB: 4/3/26 Current Weight: 12–15 lbs Meet Chandler, Joey, Phoebe, and Ross! These adorable siblings were born to a feral mama dog and were safely brought into rescue once they were old enough to be weaned. We are actively working to trap their mom so she can be spayed, helping prevent future unwanted litters. These pups are everything you could want in a puppy—sweet, affectionate, intelligent, and eager to learn. They love attention and are already showing how smart and trainable they are. With continued guidance and socialization, they are sure to make wonderful family companions. Chandler, Joey, Phoebe, and Ross get along great with other dogs, cats, and children. Based on their size and breed mix, we expect them to weigh approximately 60–80 lbs when fully grown. The puppies are current on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered and are ready to find their forever homes!
