Boaz and his brother Zuma were adopted by our family 3 years ago by a family who was not able to keep them. Our kids are now graduated, and we are hoping yo find them a new home where they can run and have a loving family.

Story
Zuko was adopted in 2021 from an accidental litter near my home. He was born in August, and turns 4 this year. Zuko needs room to run, and people to cuddle him. He is a lover of a dog and enjoys being loved on. He loves toys, balls and bones. Zuko is high energy, but low maintenance. He is not suitable for an apartment, because he will bark when he needs to go out. Im looking for someone who is willing to play with him, take him to walk or have a fenced in yard/outside area he is able to run in. He gets along with our other dog, and has had no issues with the child in the home. He has always been an anxious dog but has never shown any signs of aggression due to it, he just runs away from things he doesnt like. He is caged trained, potty trained, and eats dry food. Zuko is behind on shots.

Got him when he was 4 months old at petland. Will be 4 in September. Super sweet with high energy. Very good with other people and animals. Loves going to the dog park and car rides. He is a dog that loves to constantly by my your side. Is always laying at my feet. We have two young kids that he adores. Just doesn’t like little hands pulling his fur like any other dog. Has never been aggressive or bitten anyone. Had experience getting groomed by a groomer. Unfortunately we are relocating and we won’t have much time for him anymore and I don’t want to push his needs to the side because that is not fair to him

He is an incredibly fearful dog because of the previous owners and they stated that he's a rescue from the Amish so he likely has past abuse. I need him immediately rehome because of my new schedule and I have furniture being delivered so I don't want him hurt. If he is accepted, I need the person to come amd retrieve him since I do not have a travel crate and he won't allow me to put a leash or collar on him. He isn't wanting to hurt. When taking treats, he is incredibly cautious but gentle. He does not like people reaching out at him or walking up to him. I desperately need him rehomed ASAP because I live in an apartment.
