Story
Neville is 8 years old. We bought him through Craigslist when we first got married. We have decided to rehome him because he has growled a few times at our toddler. He seems to do fine with babies and older kids, but not toddlers. We are also a military family and deployments have gotten too difficult with young kids and two dogs to take care of. So, we would love to find him a loving home that would give him the attention he deserves. He loves being around other dogs, going on walks, cuddling, and being petted. He will follow you around like he’s your little shadow once he’s attached to you. He’s not currently up to date on vaccines but will get him up to date before he is adopted. He will come with a dog bed, food bowl, and a collar. He used to stay in a kennel but doesn’t anymore. If you want a kennel, we might still have it for you.

Story
Lenny is an independent pup with a playful side and a knack for adventure. He loves being outdoors, whether he’s chasing a ball, exploring a yard, or just soaking up the sun. He’s happy to do his own thing but loves the companionship of people or other dogs. Once he warms up, he’ll happily lean in for pets and attention. Bonus points if you have any peanut butter flavored treats! ##2257491##

Story
Mason is the perfect combination of old-soul laid back and toddler mischief!   In early November Mason was saved from a dog attack by good Samaritans who kept him safe until the rescue could pick him up. His wounds are now healed, his skin and hair healthy, and after a month if eating like a Rottweiler,  he's back up to his fighting weight of about 40 pounds.   According to Google, Mason is a "Border Aussie" - a Border Collie/ Australian Shepherd mix. At about 8 years of age, Mason still has many years of life and love left to give.   Mason loves nothing more than to be with his people. Despite an unknown length if time on the street, he exhibits zero aggression toward people or other dogs. We are unsure how he would respond to cats inside the home, and because of his "pushy" love, a home without very young children would be best.   Mason quickly mastered the doggie door and loves the freedom to come and go as he pleases.   Though fully crate-trained,  it isn't his favorite place because it separates him from his people. Because of his desire to be with his humans, Mason is quite an escape artist, therefore, a secure yard and a Mason-proof crate are non-negotiables.    As far as we can guess, Mason spent years on the street. He is missing several teeth and the rest are broken or worn to the gums. Despite this, he is a MASTER chewer - of everything! He destroys most chew toys and will eat blankets, clothes, dog beds, wire crates, etc. For his own safety, he MUST be securely crated at night or anytime he cannot be supervised.   Because of his loving and adaptable nature, Mason would thrive in almost any home. His optimal home would involve as little day-time crating as possible with a lot of human companionship.   With a lot of love and a bit of patience and training, Mason will offer years of love and loyalty in return. ##2572181##

Story
Hello, I am needing to rehome this friendly pup! His name is Rush and he'll be 2 in May. He's Australian Sheppard and hound mix. He's not fixed but is up to date on shots. He is crate trained. He is super friendly and loves everybody he meets. Last time we weighed him he was around 65lbs. We recently found out that our baby is severely allergic to him, so he's been outside for the past few weeks. We are hoping he can go to a home where he can get all of the love and affection we know he deserves

Story
Meet Pippy! Pippy is a 6-month-old little mystery mix with a big personality packed into her tiny 8-pound frame. We were told she was an Australian Shepherd, but at her petite size we suspect she may be a Toy Aussie mix, Papillon mix, or maybe even have a little spaniel sprinkled in there too. Whatever she is, she’s absolutely adorable. Pippy is a happy, playful puppy who loves everyone she meets. She gets along great with dogs both big and small, has done well around cats, and is wonderful with kids. She would love a family who will include her in all of life’s adventures — and save room on the couch afterward for snuggles. Like any young puppy, Pippy is still learning the ropes. Her foster family is currently working on crate training and housebreaking, and she’s making progress every day. One thing that definitely works in her favor? She is VERY food motivated, which should make continued training and teaching fun tricks a breeze. Pippy loves to play, explore, and burn off puppy energy, but once the fun is over she is perfectly content curling up beside you for movie night or TV time. She’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend with a sweet personality, a playful spirit, and endless snuggles to give, Pippy may be your perfect match. All available dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and given a broad spectrum dewormer . The adoption fee for Pippy is 200   If you decide to apply for this or another animal, you can complete the application online here https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/570/generic We require that all dogs in the home be spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. A securely fenced yard is preferred   If you would like to email or call, you can reach us here: mustangshelterfriends@gmail.com or  405-578-4738Our volunteers would love to talk to you about available pets, but please allow time for them to get back to you, they do this in their free time. Thank you for chosing to adopt! ##2732597##
