Courtesy Post - Owner Surrender/Rehoming - Purcell, OK Meet Ryker! He is a 3 year old Australian Shepherd that weighs around 40 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots but isn’t on heartworm preventatives. He can be dog selective, so female dogs are best. He does well with dog-saavy cats. No children please because of his reactivity! He has high anxiety and is reactive towards strangers and bikes. Slow introductions work well for him. He is being surrendered because he doesn’t get along with the other dog in the home. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible please! If you think you can provide a great home for Ryker, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to ensure good folks with good intentions. Whiskey is an Australian Shepherd. He is two years old and we got him from an adoption shelter in Missouri. He his very vocal, loves to play, and sleep. He struggles with children; when we got him, we were told his last owners had to get rid of him because he snipped at their child after she was being too rough with him. He still has that anxiety around children but we believe he can be trained to get over that. Currently, we do not have the resources to send him to any training or obedience school. We do love him but we have too many children in our circle (nieces, nephews, etc.) and do not feel comfortable with him around them.
