Story
Tilly is a beautiful, high-energy girl who has been part of our family since she was just 8 weeks old (born May 2022). At home, she’s a sweet and loving dog. She is affectionate, playful, and always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. While she loves going on walks, she’s definitely a homebody. Tilly does best with her own space and a calm, predictable routine, so she would be happiest as the only pet in a home without small children. Tilly is looking for a patient, loving owner who has time for indoor play and will truly appreciate her loyal, devoted nature. If you’re searching for a one-of-a-kind companion to fill your home with love, Tilly would love to meet you.

Story
This little cutie is Monica! Monica is an approximately 15-month old female Aussie/Labrador mix who weighs around 40 lbs. She was rescued from a neglectful situation. Monica is a playful and happy girl! She is affectionate and loves to play with other dogs and toys. She has been around small children and did great! She is more on the submissive side when playing with her sibling. Monica knows basic commands. Monica would love a home with another playful dog or where she can get lots of attention and playtime. She needs a securely fenced yard. Monica is house-trained to a doggy door. She is crate-trained. She continues to make progress with her leash training. Monica is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. To adopt Monica, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

Story
What Benny loves: Running, playing, long walks on a leash, stuffed animals and sleeping right next to his person or other dogs. Hasn’t met a dog, he doesn’t like. He seems to be interested in water as he plays on our pool cover and tries to get in the neighbourhood pond. What Benny doesn’t like: Loud noises, quick movements, Not getting attention. He’s still somewhat shy. Would be BEST with no small children as he tends to throw his weight around. He’s been around several of our family dogs from 10-70 lbs and gets along famously with all. He sleeps in a large crate at night, now that he’s learned our routine and we have learned his routine. He is 100% reliable on being housebroken. (In my opinion) If interested in me, contact my foster mom at: howell.libby09@gmail.com

Story
Oz was adopted shortly after he was born in May 2023, so Lulu (also for adoption) could have a playmate. He is an Australian Shepherd mix and has recently been neutered. We'd like if they could remain living together. They are both trained to sleep in a very large crate at night and when we're gone for short shopping trips around town. They have been exposed to children ages 8 and under, and will be fine after warming up for a while. Lulu was born sometime in October 2021 and is a Labrador Shepherd mix. She has been recently spayed. I adopted Lulu from a Soldier in my Army unit in Texas in December 2022. His wife passed away, and the unit's leadership asked if anyone could take her in. The Army was allowing him to relocate to a base closer to his home in Florida to be closer to his family due to his loss, so that he couldn't take Lulu with him. She's a friendly, lovable girl who loves walks, barking at cats, and barking at strangers through the fence or gate.

Story
Koda is a beautiful and energetic 2yo aussie shepherd mix. We adopted him a couple weeks ago and found a rescue at the same time, and now have too many pups in the house! He is very friendly around our other dogs, but we have been told by the animal shelter that he does not do well with cats or other small animals. He is very affectionate and loves to fetch. He is house and kennel trained, and we have not noticed any food or treat aggression. He knows several commands and is chipped & up to date on his vaccs. We have noticed that he is very strong for his size. We are looking for a loving home that can match his energetic personality and give him the structure and exercise he needs.

Story
Meet Juniper! She is a 2 year old border collie mix, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. She gets along with other dogs and cats, kids, and is fixed. She is high energy so needs someone who walks/runs every day or has land for her to roam. She also can jump very high so will need fences 7-8ft high. She comes with a crate, dog bed, and walking harness, slow feeder food bowl as she likes to eat fast. She is not an apartment dog, she would be great in a home that can give her a job to do whether that be a hiking/walking companion, agility competitions, or ranch hand. She is super cuddly and loves to snuggle and give all the kisses she can to her human.
