Jax is a wonderful dog. Is house trained. Lives to be petted. Only issue I have is my grandson of 12 months recently moved in and he isn't use to babies. I hate to give him up, but I'm in a situation that I need to. He is free I just want him to go to a good home.

Story
Hi everyone! I’m Gotti and I’m for a new home! I would love to have a kind and loving person or family! I came from a tough past and I am very sensitive to energy and need a home that is full of goodness and positivity. I am a little scared of men, so need one that can work with me, or I can thrive with just another momma. I’m a 4 year old young chap with good looks and a gentle heart. I’m well behaved and very adaptable. I know my commands! I am still tough leash walking, as I get very excited to new things still. I am medium in size. I am potty trained and enjoy the company of other dogs but prefer life as a solo companion or emotional support dog! I am very empathetic and sweet! I will be very loyal and loving! ✅ Great with all dogs (unsure about cats, I’m allergic) ✅ Great with Kids ✅ Very personable and compassionate ✅ Potty trained ✅ Loving, sweet, and full of potential and love

Story
Hi, this is Sammy. My foster mom also calls me Samuel, SamSam, Samwise, and Little Fruit Bat Baby (moms are so embarrassing). I don’t remember much about my life before I came to this place called a foster home. I think somebody loved me once, but somehow I ended up on my own in the big scary world. I was starving and terrified and covered with icky bugs. Some nice people took me to the shelter but I was so afraid of all the noise, and of the people trying to help me. I didn’t know how to make friends and act friendly like the other dogs. Nobody came looking for me and I almost didn’t make it out of that place. Luckily I ended up in a foster program. My mom says I have really come out of my shell since I came here. I adore my people and I can’t get enough pets and love. I think I’m pretty loyal once I love you and I give my whole heart to the ones I love. I’m so much more confident now that I have figured out the routine here, but I’m still a little scared of new people and places, and sometimes I bark and act tough because I don’t want them to see I’m afraid. Once I meet you and see it’s ok I warm up pretty quick. If you give me a treat I think you must be nice! Mom says I need slow introductions and lots of patience when doing new things. I haven’t been around many kids and none that are very young. I don’t think I would like a home with them because they run and make a lot of noise and it scares me. Sometimes I think when they run I should run too and bark at them. I could probably learn how to like kids more but Mom thinks I have some herder tendencies and might need some training to be sure I know how to act around them. I really like other dogs. I love to play with my doggie housemates. Even if one is kind of cranky to me I still keep trying to be friends. I have met a lot of new dog friends on play dates and I have gotten along with all of them. Having dog friends really helps me feel comfortable and secure. A dog park may be too overwhelming for me though. There are kitties here and I like them too. I am pretty careful with the confident ones who stand their ground and bop my nose if I get too enthusiastic, but I sometimes forget to be gentle and chase the one who runs from me. I get a little too playful when I catch him and I forget I’m so big. Mom reminds me I can’t play so rough, but I maybe should not have cats in my new home. I am pretty much house-trained and I’m working on using the potty bells to tell mom I need to go out. At night I sleep in mom’s bedroom and I don’t have any accidents. During the day when mom is gone I am in a kennel. I don’t really like it and I think I’m scared to be alone and that someone might not come back so I bark and howl sometimes. Mom got some medicine to help me and I’m starting to feel better and not be so sad when I’m alone. I do need a heavy duty metal crate to stay safe because I can damage the plastic and lighter metal ones. I can climb a chain link fence so I need a secure wood fence. I walk pretty good on a leash and I have a cute little prance when we are going somewhere fun. I ride well in the car and jump in and out in my own. I wasn’t sure about playing with toys at first but I have decided I really like squeaky toys and things I can chew on. I have to be careful I don’t confuse shoes lying out with toys! I listen well and have learned to sit and to shake. I will need a home with a fence, as I have too much energy that walks alone won't get out my energy. I need to be able to romp around in a yard! My mom says I am a total love bug once I get to know someone. I like to be in the same room as my person (bathrooms included!) and I sleep at her feet when she’s working. I think I’m a lap dog even though I’m 35 pounds l, but lying next to mom on the couch is great too. I hope I can find my new home with a family that loves me. My ideal home would include: Other nice dogs Fenced Yard No cats or very confident cats Older children Someone who is home a lot or works from home Lots of patience and positive reinforcement Looking forward to meeting you or doing a meet and greet! Love, Sammy.
