Story
This five year old, 60 pound chunk of sass is the funniest dog you’ll ever meet. June is dog friendly, she absolutely adores kids, she’s potty trained, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and full of fun and laughs. She loves belly rubs, being with her people, she knows basic commands, and she’s not afraid to tell you when she wants something, hence the sass. She really is the best girl and deserves the best home. She would literally fit in anywhere. She would be perfect in a home with someone retired who’s home with her and can exercise her regularly, as she is on a diet plan. She would be fantastic as an addition to a family with other dogs as she integrates well, or she would do great as an only dog.  She is literal perfection. Please consider her.    ##1848651##

Poppy sleeps through the night, knows her crate and is learning how to sit and shake! She is growing into the sweetest pup and anyone would be lucky to have her apart of their family! ##1837717##

Story
Are you looking for a unique, petite bundle of fun...look no further...this is Jessye Storm. Jessye is 5 years old and only 36 pounds. Due to her small stature and coloring we think Jessye may have some Aussie and Welsh Corgi in her. This dog is the real deal in a small package! She is crate trained, housebroken, very gentle on the leash, quiet, loves children and adults alike and she has done well with introductions to other dogs. She will let you know when she needs to go outside but she is not a fan of hot weather. Jessye will give gentle hugs and kisses and loves car rides and any adventure that you will like to take her on. Jessye is waiting for her perfect family...could that be you! Jessye had bloodwork and a dental, and is currently being treated for heartworms. Interested in becoming a forever home for Jessye Storm? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Jessye Storm. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Jessye Storm the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our normal adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Momma Geraldine kept her babies safe under a collapsing trailer in freezing temps....after being shot while pregnant. She is now healthy and looking for her perfect family to give her all the love she deserves.  Geraldene is a medium size girl around 40lbs and is much calmer than her Heeler genetics would suggest. She does great with the other dog in her foster home. Her only no-no is young kiddos as they make her nervous, and she is a sweetheart otherwise! She literally smiles when you pet her!  ##1669311##

Story
Cornbread is very much the typical Aussie. He is a oawsitively beautiful boy! He is a pure bred Australian Shepard and 100% good boy! He is very smart, high energy, sweet and loves playing catch and going for long walks around the lake. He loves being around people and other dogs. He follows me all around the house.  Cornbread is kennel trained and does well riding in a car. He is mostly potty trained. He is very treat oriented and learns fast. We are currently working on manners, as he gets so excited and it’s hard to contain himself , he jumps up on people wanting wanting pets and to give you kisses. He is agile and prone to jumping up on people, furniture and countertops but we are working on that.  Cornbread would probably be best for someone with an active lifestyle and older children as he has a tendency to nip at you at times due to herding tendencies.  He probably needs a decent sized yard secured with a study fence. He has a tendency to dig under fence. He would make an excellent running or jogging partner or companion to someone with an active and outdoorsy lifestyle. He is the perfect boy if you’re ready to emBARK on a new adventure!    ##1950596##

Story
Koda was adopted along with his sister Nova in 2020. They will be turning 4 this October. Koda loves spending time outside during the day but loves to protect his home from the inside at night. He loves babies but also loves their smelly socks. He enjoys when you scratch his back but also loves when you scratch his behind! He knows your basic commands of sit, lay, wait, no, and go. He is also potty trained. His favorite human food is French fries and loves playing hide and seek. He used to live with his sister Nova, as for my mom and I lived in the same household. Once I bought my house they were separated , because my mom adopted nova. Once we moved they both became depressed without each other and Koda no longer had the same outdoor space to enjoy. If you’re also interested in his sister for then go be together you can ask about her as well. He comes with a kennel and his bed and bag of food.

Winston is a 4 year old half border collie, half Australian shepherd, and is a wonderful friend. He's not such a great fan of having other animals around after he was attacked by another dog on a walk. He enjoys being the only animal in the home. He also prefers to be around adults or in a calm home with no small children. He is extremely affectionate towards adults and loves pets and running around the yard playing fetch.
