She loves to snuggle, sleep, and play outside. She is crate/kenneled trained as well as house broken. She should not be in a home with small children, however, older kids that understand boundaries would be fine.

Bio: Drake is a gorgeous 4.5 year old blue merle australian shepherd, fully vaccinated and recently neutered. He has two beautiful blue eyes! Drake is good with dogs and cats! Drake is special needs, in that he has anxiety, irritable bowel disease, and hip displasia. He came from an abuse/neglect situation and is weary of strangers. Drake is absolutely wonderful in the right setting. He loves other dogs and cats and very friendly to people he trusts. He takes ample time to warm up to new people. He is nervous in new settings. He doesn't like to be left alone and prefers routines. He tends to slobber when nervous, and does shed. His favorite past time is playing with his foster sister dog! He will be a velcro dog to the person he loves!

Hi! My name is little Bear. As you can see, I'm a very beautiful and small aussie at only 30 pounds! But more so than my looks, I have the sweetest personality. I'm a very happy and active dog that enjoys both going on walks and cuddling with people! In fact, here at the shelter with my HST friends, I'm known for climbing up in people's laps to be held! I've certainly earned the name bear for my cuddly nature! My perfect home would be with someone that enjoys going on walks as well as cuddling on the couch with a sweet doggy. Additionally, I'd do best in an only-dog home, so siblings are not for me! If I sound like the dog for you, then come meet me! I'm sure we'll be best friends.
