Patches is a 2 & 1/2 year old, 60lb, neutered Australian Shepherd. Sadly, his owner recently passed away.Patches is a sweet, playful, loving dog who is house trained, house safe, rides well in the car and is up-to-date on vaccinations. He's been groomed and boarded regularly and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. He does not like cats. Patches has been working on his loose leash walking and he's doing great!Patches needs training when it comes to barking and jumping up excitedly when visitors arrive. For that reason, we will not place him with a family with small children for fear he'll knock them over. He also needs to have his toys and bones traded rather than taken away.When home alone, he lays on the couch or his dog bed and at night he prefers to sleep with his human. He also likes to crawl into your lap like a lap dog.Ideally, Patches forever home will be one with another dog to play with and someone who will continue his training and provide regular exercise.

Lovable, likes other dogs would be good in a home with one or two cats. His owner has fallen and injured herself. She will be out of commission in a rehab center for a year. She just wants him to find a loving home. He is fully vaccinated. Has his rabies tag. I will have all of his vet information by Wednesday next. Apparently, he likes to share armchairs. I cannot keep him. I have too many animals. If you are interested, please call Mary Anne at 541-799-4130. You would have to come get him. He is in Sweet Home.
