Adoption Fee: $50Weight: 61lbsArrival Date: 12/7/24Microchip #: 977200010650922Meet Millie – an incredibly smart and sometimes too clever dog looking for her forever home! This beautiful girl came to us with her litter of puppies, now that her pups are all grown up and in their forever homes, Millie is eagerly waiting for hers!Millie is a sweet and affectionate dog, but she’s also full of energy and needs a job to keep her mind and body busy. When she’s runs out of activities to keep her satisfied, she’s so clever that she uses the chain-link fence like a ladder to let herself out and go find more! Unfortunately, because of this, she can’t be left unattended in a yard, so she isn’t able to burn off as much energy as she needs. While Millie has found a few dog friends in the past, her play style isn`t for everyone. Millie doesn`t do anything at less than 100% and that includes playing. She does best with dog friends that can keep up and put up with her enthusiastic and rough playstyle. Due to her always-on-the-go mind set, when walking past other dogs Millie can get frustrated by being held back which can lead to barrier reactivity. Millie may do best in a home where she is the star of the show with no other dogs or any small animals. Millie is an incredibly sweet girl who would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise, stimulation, and mental challenges. We have also been working with Millie on walking on long lines, keeping her attention on her handler, and using food puzzles to keep her mind working. If you’re looking for a bright and energetic companion, she might just be the perfect fit! Note: We recommend that potential adopters have experience with Malinois or similar breeds, as Millie’s intelligence and energy are traits typical of this breed.

Adoption Fee: $400.00Weight: 36.4 LBSArrival Date: 11/25/25Microchip #: 941010004971557Meet Courage!Courage is an adorable Border Collie mix who’s still an older puppy at heart—full of potential, sweetness, and the softest gaze you’ll ever see. His name might be Courage, but he’s actually a gentle, sensitive soul who’s still learning that the world is a safe place. With patience and kindness, he blossoms more every day. Courage is incredibly sweet and deeply loyal once he feels comfortable. He loves quiet companionship, gentle petting, and being near “his person.” Though new situations can make him a little nervous, he tries so hard to be brave, and his progress is both heart-melting and inspiring. He’s smart, eager to learn, and would thrive with someone who can help build his confidence at his own pace. He’d do best in a calm, reassuring home where he can feel secure and continue growing into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a tender-hearted companion who will reward your patience with unwavering love, Courage is ready to meet you.

Story
Abea was rescued from a bad living situation in Klamath Falls in 2020, she has then lived with another rescue dog and 5 rescue cats since. We have moved around, she is adaptable and resilient. Abea has been through a lot and is looking for a calm home to call her own. She is 12 years old but still playful and so loving. An ideal home for her would be a young adult or couple who wants a medium energy and adventurous dog. But she also does well with just a yard and some cuddles.

Story
Hey there, I’m Luna — a beautiful mix of Border Collie, Retriever, and Black Lab, with 11 years of love, loyalty, and adventure under my paws. I weigh about 47 pounds, and though I’m starting to get a little stiff in my back legs, my heart is still full of energy and joy. I grew up on five acres with four awesome boys, running, swimming, and exploring every inch of the outdoors. For the past ten years, I’ve been part of a wonderful family that loves me deeply. They’ve recently become full-time RV travelers, but life on the road isn’t what’s best for me anymore. They know I deserve a home where I can stretch out, nap in the sunshine, and enjoy the familiar rhythms of home life — that’s where you come in. I’m house trained and walk nicely on leash! I can get a little excited or unsure when I see other dogs on walks, but once I’ve had a proper introduction, I settle right in and can be quite friendly. I also love to chat with the animals I spot outside — I just have a lot to say! I’m used to kids and other dogs, and I’m happiest when I can spend time outdoors, even when it’s chilly. I like having my own dog bed to nap on during the day, and I’m just as content watching the world go by as I am splashing in the water — swimming is one of my favorite things! These days, I need a little help getting in and out of the car, but I’m still ready for long walks, fresh air, and love. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will bring a decade’s worth of wisdom and warmth into your life, I’m ready to make new memories with you. Let’s find a quiet, cozy place together — I promise I’ll make it feel like home.

Story
Meet Paco – Your Loyal Shadow and Playful Pup Paco is a handsome brown and white hound mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears. This affectionate boy is thriving in his foster home and is now ready to find a forever family of his very own — ideally one with a fenced yard, a playful dog friend, and humans who will include him in their daily life. He bonds deeply and loves nothing more than being close to his people. Paco is house-trained, great on a leash, and eager to please. He loves to romp and wrestle with other dogs and is surprisingly respectful around chickens — a true southern gentleman. He’s curious with cats and learning to be polite with them, taking gentle correction well. After a fun day, Paco prefers to sleep snuggled up with his foster mom, but he also does great overnight in a crate when needed. Being outdoors is Paco’s happy place. He enjoys exploring, sunbathing, and relaxing in the grass, and he’s a fan of splashing in the water to cool off on warm days. Car rides are becoming more comfortable for him, and with continued positive experiences, he’ll soon be a confident travel buddy. Paco is the perfect match for someone seeking a loyal, cuddly, dog-friendly companion with a sweet spirit and a playful heart. If you’re ready for a devoted shadow who will follow you from the garden to the couch, look no further — Paco is ready to love you for life. Paco is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX but can be transported to the PNW and NE. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
