Adoption Donation  $ 599 Located: RI (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx   1 year old Weight: 30  lbs.   Frost is a great dog. He is a mini Aussie who found himself in need of a home. He loves to play, go for walks and loves to be close to his people. He is super affectionate and funny. Frost has a lot of energy and would do best in an active family that would keep him busy with enrichment activities and include him in lots of adventures. He would probably be a great candidate for agility courses, and long walks or hikes.  If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  lauraraia74@gmail.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If the initials following the animals name are a state, then that is the state where the animal is located. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) reserves the right to deny any adoption application with or without disclosure of cause. Your adoption fee helps to cover the cost of all age appropriate vetting and transportation. FOHARI.ORG makes no explicit or implicit guarantees in reference to the health, temperament and/or the breed of the animal. The animal is adopted ‘as is’, and the adopter assumes all responsibility for treatment of any and all existing conditions or any other conditions of physical or temperament changes that may occur. FOHARI.ORG will provide the animal with the basic vaccines, heart worm test and sterilization of dogs and cats before adoption if the age and current health of the animal permits. While FOHARI.ORG makes every effort to place only healthy animals, FOHARI.ORG cannot guarantee the health of any animal, and shall not be held responsible for any medical expenses that may be incurred. Rescuer will provide information received from the veterinarian exam, observations on the temperament of the animal and a best guess of the breed. Friends of Homeless Animals Inc. Story
Meet this beautiful 7-month-old Aussie mix who is ready to find the active, loving forever home she deserves! This sweet girl is the total package — affectionate, gentle, submissive, and full of playful puppy energy. She absolutely thrives around other dogs and would do best in a home with another young, playful pup to help continue building her confidence and burn off energy through fun and companionship. She is crate trained, potty trained, wonderful in the car, and enjoys going for walks and adventures with her people. Daily walks, exercise, and mental stimulation are a must for this smart and active girl. Whether it’s hiking, playing fetch, or simply exploring the neighborhood, she is happiest when she’s included in the action. She loves everyone she meets — kids, adults, and dogs alike — and has a very loving, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. Due to her herding breed DNA, a home with cats or small animals would not be in her best interest (or theirs), as her natural instincts can kick in. She is fully vetted and ready for her forever family: • Up to date on vaccines • Spayed • Rabies vaccinated • Heartworm negative If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling every day, this amazing girl may be your perfect match!

Story
Meet Jolina! Jolina is a beautiful 6-month-old Australian Shepherd mix with striking blue eyes, a playful personality, and so much love to give. This sweet girl is the perfect mix of fun and affection. She loves being around her people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and is always curious about what is going on around her. Whether she’s exploring the yard, following you from room to room, or settling in for some cuddles, Jolina is happiest when she’s part of the action. Jolina was born deaf, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. She is a smart, observant puppy who learns by watching the people and dogs around her. She is eager to connect, eager to learn, and eager to find a family of her own. One of Jolina’s biggest accomplishments is that she is already house-trained. For a young puppy, that’s a huge step, and she’s doing wonderfully in her foster home. Jolina absolutely loves other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident canine companion who can help show her the ropes. She takes comfort in having a dog friend around and enjoys being part of a pack. Like any young dog, Jolina will continue to need guidance, training, and patience as she grows. In return, she’ll reward her family with endless loyalty, companionship, and love. Jolina is looking for a family that will see past her special needs and recognize what her foster family already knows: she’s an incredible puppy with a bright future ahead of her. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, house-trained puppy who loves other dogs and is ready for her forever home, Jolina may be the perfect match. If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter.   If you were already approved through Rhode Home Rescue within the last 6 months, contact us today!
