You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE   Age: 8 Months (est. as of 8/24/25) Weight: 47.2 lbs. (est. as of 8/24/25) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Sniggle-Fritz is a sweet playful young lady! She is described as an Aussie/Doodle mix and has a beautiful Chocolate colored coat. She loves to run around and play for an hour or two a day and then is happy to chill with her people. She is said to get along with all adults, children, dogs she lives with and new pups that she meets. She loves to play tug of war, chase and enjoys some bitey mouth play with her pup friends. Sniggle-Fritz is not overly interested in smaller animals, has met cats and was able to be redirected. She does very well in her crate and is used to sleeping there at night. She is still working on perfecting her housetraining but has been keeping her crate clean and has not had any accidents in her foster home. Sniggle-Fritz rides well in a car (in a crate or loose) and walks well on a leash. She is making great progress for a young dog and would benefit from continuing her obedience training. She enjoys a good game of fetch, squeaky toys, meeting new people and cuddling. What an all around great pup she is!! Sniggle-Fritz has lived in a home with a lot of different people coming and going and did very well. She seems like she would be a great addition to any family and this sweet gal is ready to meet her people!  Some of her background: She was the last of a litter of puppies to be adopted and was taken in by a household of 3 older ladies who loved her. They unfortunately ended up having some health issues and felt that they could no longer care for her and had no other choice but to surrender her. She did live with them for a while and was fully integrated into the household. She was also described as a perfect houseguest by her interim foster home where she stayed for a couple of days. Sniggle-Fritz is said to know some commands like:  “sit, lay & amp; get ready (to go into her crate)”. She also loves to play fetch and knows “go” to get what is thrown, although she still needs a little polish on “give it” but she is super smart and should learn that quickly.   An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 13, 2026, 10:50 am

Story
Have you ever wanted a dog that looks like he was custom designed? Meet Bodhi, a stunning 6-month-old pup who seems to have picked out his own features—one half-blue eye, one brown eye, a rich dark red coat, and a personality packed with endless zoomies. He’s smart, curious, and wonderfully goofy, always on the lookout for his next adventure.Bodhi’s story started with uncertainty when he landed on the euthanasia list at Memphis Animal Services, but he was thankfully rescued just in time and given the chance he deserves. Now, he’s making the most of it every single day. This handsome boy is the perfect mix of charm and chaos. He’s doing great with crate training and is making steady progress with housetraining. Bodhi absolutely adores other dogs and thrives in their company. He’s incredibly food motivated—which makes training both fun and effective—and he’s eager to learn as long as treats are involved. With an energy level somewhere between espresso and a tornado, Bodhi will need an active home ready to keep up with him and provide plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He’s not your typical laid-back couch potato—but if you’re looking for a striking, fun-loving, high-energy companion who will keep life exciting and full of laughter, here he is!!!Name: BodhiBreed: Aussie/Bull Terrier   (Breed mix is not guaranteed-no DNA testing done).Sex: MaleAge: 25 weeks  (estimated)Weight: 30.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownPuppy Adoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)                       $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee for Massachusetts residents.Location of dog currently:    Tennessee  IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet Jolina Jolina is a 4-month-old white Australian Shepherd mix with a gentle spirit and a playful, loving personality. Jolina is deaf, but she navigates the world with curiosity and resilience, using her eyes and heart to connect with everything around her. She is a sweet, affectionate puppy who loves being near her people and soaking up attention. Jolina enjoys playtime, exploring, and following along with what’s going on around her. Because she is still learning how the world works, she would do best in a home with another confident, well-adjusted dog who can help guide her and build her confidence. Jolina is incredibly intuitive and eager to learn. With consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement, she will continue to grow into a well-rounded and devoted companion. She may experience the world differently, but she is just as loving, smart, and capable as any other puppy. If you’re ready to open your home to a special girl with so much love to give, Jolina is waiting to meet you If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter.   If you were already approved through Rhode Home Rescue within the last 6 months, contact us today! Story
Brisket is an Australian Shepherd mix with a big heart and lots of personality. We adopted him in 2019 when he was around 2 years old. He’s a loyal dog who loves being close to his people. He is big on cuddling and showing his affection. He would do best in a home with only adults or older children who can give him the focus he enjoys, without increasing anxiety. He loves to play frisbee, go for walks, and lay out in the shade. For his breed, he does enjoy laying low and relaxing.Brisket is house-trained and smart, with tons of potential to continue to grow with additional training. Affectionately known as our “alarm,” he’ll happily let you know when someone is approaching the door. Due to frequent military moves, busy young children, and changing schedules, we’re hoping to find him a stable, loving home where he can truly shine and get the attention he deserves.
