Story
Hello, my name is Ginger-snap. You have never met a more gorgeous, sweet fellow. I am all Australian Shepherd. I have never had a family of my own. When I was born my human mom decided I would become part of her breeding stock. My human mom was a backyard breeder. So as time moved on, all my littermates got homes. I was left to grow up with minimal human touch. One day my human mom became sick and she realized she couldn't take care of all she had. So, here I am. I am being neutered on March 3, 2026. I will be ready to travel the following week. Please find a place in your heart for a sweet boy like me. Please send an email requesting an application for adopting me, alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. when you receive the application, please fill out in full including your three references email addresses. Your references cannot be related to you. Ginger-snap Male Neutered 03/03/2026 Breed Australian Shepherd Color Tri-color with white Age 7months (as of 02/23/2026) Weight 27lbs Great with people, older children, dogs/puppies, and cats/ kittens. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: 5 months (as of 2/13/26) Weight: 30 lbs (as of 2/13/26) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Bubblicious, a delightful puppy with a heart full of joy. Bubblicious and her sister Razzle can’t wait to meet you! We are thinking these sweet pups are an Australian Shepherd and Doodle mix. Bubblicious’s days are filled with fun as she adores playing fetch and exploring new toys. Her sweet, friendly nature makes her a favorite among those she meets, charming everyone with her gentle, goofy antics. She's not only playful but also smart, quickly learning new games and tricks. Bubblicious is crate trained, almost-there with housetraining, and needs to learn how to walk on the leash. She is an energetic pup and may jump out of excitement and adopters with little kids should keep this in mind. Basic group training classes is recommended to help her learn commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you! If you're looking for a loyal companion to bring smiles and laughter into your home, Bubblicious, or Razzle, is the perfect match. Her spirited presence promises endless love and adventure. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 17, 2026, 1:35 pm

Meet Powder & Frosty — Two Extraordinary Brothers Looking for Their Forever HomesPowder and Frosty are visually and hearing-impaired brothers who were surrendered to a shelter in Franklin TN. After spending several weeks waiting for help, Paws New England said yes immediately—and we’re so glad we did. These sweet boys are approximately 4 months old and currently around 25–30 lbs. Despite their disabilities, they are truly delightful puppies who actively seek out human affection and love being part of the action. Right now, they’re staying on a farm in Tennessee, where they’re working with a trainer and being carefully observed as they interact with other dogs. We’ll continue to share updates as we learn more about their personalities and progress.Because Powder and Frosty rely on touch, scent, and routine to navigate the world, they will be adopted into separate homes, each with a confident, happy, sighted/hearing canine companion to help guide them and build their confidence. This is essential for their success. What their ideal homes look like:A friendly, well-adjusted dog already in the homeA fenced yard is preferred so they can safely enjoy outdoor timeExperienced adopters (especially those familiar with special-needs dogs) may be considered for alternative setupsA patient, loving family committed to helping a special pup thriveWe are still getting to know Powder and Frosty, but what’s already clear is that they are incredibly loving little souls who deserve homes filled with compassion, structure, and joy.If you’re interested in learning more about one of these angels, we encourage you to apply. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: 5 months (as of 2/11/2026) Weight: 18 lbs (as of 1/11/2026) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Mushroom, a delightful pup with a heart full of joy. Known for his even temperament, Mushroom is the epitome of sweetness and playfulness. He's a smart pup who loves his toys and enjoys playful moments with anyone willing to engage. Although a bit shy, Mushroom quickly warms up to new friends, showing his gentle and friendly nature. He loves playing with other dogs and has thoroughly enjoyed all the playdates he's had while in foster.  Being just puppies, they will have so much to learn! They'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog. Mushroom is an ideal companion for anyone looking for a loyal and loving friend. Adopt Mushroom or Bellpepper today and experience the unconditional love and fun he brings to every day! Medical Note: This dog tested positive for and/or had symptoms of parvovirus.  His last symptoms were on 12/3/25.  This dog has been examined and is now healthy and eager to find his forever home!  Please see here for information about parvovirus.
