Meet Jolina! Jolina is a beautiful 6-month-old Australian Shepherd mix with striking blue eyes, a playful personality, and so much love to give. This sweet girl is the perfect mix of fun and affection. She loves being around her people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and is always curious about what is going on around her. Whether she’s exploring the yard, following you from room to room, or settling in for some cuddles, Jolina is happiest when she’s part of the action. Jolina was born deaf, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. She is a smart, observant puppy who learns by watching the people and dogs around her. She is eager to connect, eager to learn, and eager to find a family of her own. One of Jolina’s biggest accomplishments is that she is already house-trained. For a young puppy, that’s a huge step, and she’s doing wonderfully in her foster home. Jolina absolutely loves other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident canine companion who can help show her the ropes. She takes comfort in having a dog friend around and enjoys being part of a pack. Like any young dog, Jolina will continue to need guidance, training, and patience as she grows. Story
Cleopatra was adopted in June 2025. She has been a beloved addition to our family, and a best friend to my two children. Unfortunately, life has changed a lot in our family dynamic and her adopted parents are no longer together. It is with an extremely heavy heart that we have to rehome Cleo due to this. I want to make sure she goes to a loving, active home that can give her the attention and life she deserves. She has play dates with our neighbors dogs, and even though they are smaller than Cleo, she is very submissive. Loves to cuddle our children and our neighbors 7lb dog. She has only ever chased our cats in the past year we have had her. She would benefit from professional training as she is a jumper. I am hoping someone will see her pictures and fall in love with her as we did when we adopted her. She is crate trained as well. Due to my job and becoming her sole caregiver, I am unable to keep her.

Thank you for your interest in adopting! We look forward to helping you adopt your next companion animal. All dogs and cats are fostered in volunteer Alabama homes with retirees, or with working families, kids and teenagers, other dogs and sometimes cats too. When your application is approved, we put you in touch with the foster for FaceTime so you can see your puppy in real time and ask questions. It's a process that's worked for hundreds of dogs over the past fifteen years. We start crate training puppies about ten weeks and send our crate training sheet with every adoption. A fence is not required to adopt a puppy. All dogs and cats are fully vetted prior to adoption. Spayed/neutered, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormed, parasite prevention. Any medical issue that was treated is fully disclosed. All dogs and cats come with medical records. There is lots of room to write on the application. Please tell us about yourself, and your pets, current or previous. Angel is estimated to be 4 months old July 15. She weighs about 25 pounds and we expect her to grow to a medium sized dog at 55 pounds. She was found stray as a young puppy so we have no history on her parents. Most mixed breeds have multiple breeds in their DNA. We can only list her by what we think she looks like at this age. Angel is all white, but she's getting some dark red freckles at the rim of her ears. Her coat continues to thicken and fill in. She's going to grow into a beautiful dog. Angel lives in a foster home with multiple dogs. She's being crate trained, she stays dry all night in her crate, but she still needs consistent training and some one on one obedience training from her family. She likes the attention from her person and she loves other dogs, big and small. She thinks she's a lap dog and enjoys napping in foster dad's lap when he's in the recliner watching TV. She has not been exposed to cats. She'd probably do well as long as there's another dog in the home that's good with cats. We can cat test her for an approved application. Transportation is included in the total adoption fee. We have to pay for every animal that we send North on Transport. We do not own the van or the service. $345 adoption fee $175 transport $65 health certificate from Vet. _______ Total for a healthy vetted pet. $585 Serious adopters should fill out the application online and we'll be in touch in a day or two. Hello, our names are Carson (m), Bridger (m), and Colton (m). We are the cutest, sweetest, funniest, silliest babies you have ever met. We are like watching a three ring circus never knowing who is going to do what. But, the more you laugh, the sillier we are. We are not bonded siblings. We live with other rescue pups. Here at my foster mom's place, there are adult dogs, cats & kittens, a horse and a rooster. She has a creek running through the property which is good because we LOVE water. Our lives began in a rural community. The man who owned my parents was not responsible. So, here we are. But the bad part is, he could not hardly pay for food, vetting our three boys, or fixing our parents. He could not even give us flea/ tick prevention or heartworm prevention for our parents. The kind lady who was notified about us took us into her rescue. Today we are fed, full vetting is being done, flea/ tick prevention along with heartworm prevention is being given. Lil Mac is only two years old, but he’s already been through more than most dogs ever should. He was found tied up and abandoned in a cemetery in Arkansas, alone, scared, and left behind. Lil Mac came to Rhode Island in search of his forever family, and in the meantime, his incredible foster family has been showering him with patience, kindness, and love. Lil Mac is wary of men, but his foster dad and brother have shown him that how kind and gentle some men are. And somehow, Lil Mac found the courage to trust. Now, the same dog who was once so unsure leans into them, loving them with his whole heart. He’s still learning and growing but he’s come so far, and we are so proud of him. Mac may find apartment living a bit overwhelming, so he would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can relax and romp at his own pace. He’d truly enjoy having canine or even feline siblings to keep him company. Because he’s more on the reserved side, he would thrive in an adult-only home, or possibly one with older, respectful teenagers.
