Story
We have had Hammie since he was 12 weeks old. He is house trained, kennel trained, leash/halter trained and he is off leash trained. He has always been a nervous dog around new people but as he got older he got better at being introduced to new people. After our son was born his anxiety became worse though. We had hoped he would get better as our son got older but our son is 3 now. Hammie has only gotten worse as our son has gotten older. Overall he is a great dog but he is not a good dog for young children and to add to everything we recently found out we will be having a second child. The best thing for Hammie would be to find someone who has the time to give him the exercise he needs and the attention he deserves. He’s extremely smart and loyal. He would make a great dog for someone willing to give him a chance. He’s never had any issues with other dogs and loved our cat we had before she passed. If you have any questions please let me know.

Story
He's cute, he's fun and he promises to bring lots of love to your life every single day. Jovi is a 7-year-old, approx. 56 lbs, Australian Shepherd mix. He’s smart, playful, friendly and good with dogs his size with proper introductions. Small dogs/animals and cats are, unfortunately, a no go for this fella. Jovi loves human companionship and he does well with kids, but his enthusiasm makes him a better fit for older ones. He is house and crate trained and his leash skills, well, they are a work in progress. Jovi's favorite activities include running, playing in the kiddie pool and snuggling after a long day of play. This guys ideal match would be an experienced, patient and committed home that can provide structure and boundaries. Jovi needs an area to expend his bursts of Aussie energy, so a fenced yard is required. Once those bursts are expended, he's ready to snuggle in for a good book or a movie. Jovi is looking for a home where he can stretch out, soak up attention and claim his rightful spot on the couch. If you’re searching for a playful, affectionate dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Jovi is ready to be your guy. ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** Adoption fee is $600 All dogs are fully vetted before leaving rescue (vaccinations, spay or neuter and microchip). Rock-A-Bully and Friends Rescue is based in Houston, TX. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. Transport is available to select cities in the NE, Midwest and Pacific NW. Story
He is a 1-year-and-2-month-old, super sweet boy with so much love to give. I acquired him when he was young, and he has been such a fun, loyal companion. He is fully microchipped and completely up to date on all of his shots. He absolutely loves being outdoors and would do best in a home where he has space to run, play, and explore. He has a lot of energy and personality. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get along well with my cats, so I’m looking for a home where he can be the only pet or in a situation that’s a better fit for him. Due to health issues, I am no longer able to give him the level of care and activity he deserves, which is the reason I am making the difficult decision to rehome him. He is loving, playful, affectionate, and full of life. I’m hoping to find him a safe, stable, and active home where he can truly thrive and receive the attention he deserves.

Story
Fin is a year old miniature Australian Shepherd, who comes from a working line. His parents are both actively working on a dairy farm. He is incredibly smart and a dream to train as he learns so quickly. You can see his little mind working. He loves playing chase with soccer balls, tug of war, learning new tricks and playing in water. He really needs a family who can give him more attention and room to run. Unfortunately because of some circumstances we just can’t provide him the enrichment he needs. We are heart broken about this decision but truly just want the best for him.

Story
Meet Maya – A Spirited Sweetheart Looking for Her Forever Home! Name: Maya Breed: Australian Kelpie–Terrier Mix DOB: December 7, 2024 Weight: 30 pounds Spayed, Vaccinated, and Healthy About Maya: Maya is a beautiful, medium-sized girl with a bright mind and a playful heart. She’s active, friendly, and full of curiosity. Whether it’s chasing a ball, going for a walk, or exploring the backyard, Maya is always up for an adventure. She loves people and enjoys being part of the action—but when playtime is over, she’s happy to curl up near her favorite humans. Breed Info – Australian Kelpie x Terrier: Australian Kelpies are highly intelligent, loyal working dogs with strong herding instincts. Terriers are energetic, clever, and full of personality. As a mix, Maya is the perfect blend of smart and spirited. She’ll thrive in a home that can provide both physical activity and mental stimulation. Expect a dog who learns quickly, bonds deeply, and loves to stay busy. Owner Responsibilities: Provide daily exercise (walks, playtime, or training games) Offer basic obedience training and positive reinforcement Feed a healthy diet and maintain regular veterinary care Include Maya in family life—she’s not a dog to leave alone or chained outside Keep her mentally and physically active to prevent boredom Provide love, patience, structure, and a sense of safety Things to Consider Before Adopting Maya: Time & Energy: Maya needs more than a quick potty break. She’ll do best with a person or family who is active and engaged. Finances: Dogs require ongoing expenses (food, vet visits, flea/tick prevention, grooming, toys, etc.). Housing Rules: Make sure your landlord allows pets—especially medium-to-large breeds. Allergies: Check for pet allergies in the household. Lifelong Commitment: Maya could live 12–15+ years. She’s not a temporary guest—she’s family. No Outdoor Chains or Isolation: Maya needs interaction, exercise, and affection. Leaving her tied outside is not safe or fair to her well-being. Why Maya Will Be a Great Addition: Maya is intelligent, affectionate, and ready to love her people with her whole heart. She’s great for active individuals, couples, or families who want a smart, loyal companion to join them on walks, hikes, or playtime in the yard. With the right environment and care, Maya will blossom into your most loyal friend—one who makes you smile every single day. Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Teresita Female • Kelpie / Husky Mix • Born 7/17/2025 • ~20 pounds • Not Spayed Yet Teresita is a bright, beautiful young pup with a heart as big as her potential. At just five months old, she’s in that magical stage of puppyhood where curiosity, playfulness, and affection all blend together. She’s still growing — not just in size, but in confidence, learning, and love — and she’s ready for a family who will guide her gently as she discovers the world. Personality Teresita is joyful, smart, and full of life. She has a playful spirit and an eager-to-learn mind, paired with a sweet, affectionate side that loves human connection. Expect happy wiggles, puppy zoomies, and those quiet moments when she curls up nearby after a busy day. She thrives on interaction and will do best with people who enjoy engaging with their dog and helping her grow into her best self. Breed Info (Kelpie / Husky Mix) This wonderful mix often brings together: High intelligence and problem-solving skills Energetic, athletic builds Loyal, people-oriented personalities A need for both physical activity and mental stimulation Teresita will benefit from continued training, enrichment, and an active, loving home. Owner Responsibilities Teresita’s future family should be prepared to: Continue puppy training and socialization Provide daily exercise and mental enrichment Establish routines, structure, and positive guidance Commit to spay surgery when age-appropriate Maintain consistent veterinary care Even though Teresita is healthy, adopters should take her to their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption. Things to Consider Before Adopting Puppies require time, patience, and supervision Training is ongoing and essential Confirm landlord or HOA approval, including breed and size policies Consider your daily schedule, energy level, and long-term plans A dog is a lifetime commitment, not just a puppy phase The 3-3-3 Rule The first 3 days help Teresita decompress, the first 3 weeks help her learn your routine, and the first 3 months are when trust deepens and she truly understands she’s home. &#226&#156&#168 Why Teresita Will Be a Great Addition Teresita has the kind of joyful spirit that fills a home with laughter, movement, and love. With the right guidance, she will grow into a loyal, intelligent companion who will walk beside you through life’s adventures.
