Story
He's cute, he's fun and he promises to bring lots of love to your life every single day. Jovi is a 7-year-old, approx. 56 lbs, Australian Shepherd mix. He’s smart, playful, friendly and good with dogs his size with proper introductions. Small dogs/animals and cats are, unfortunately, a no go for this fella. Jovi loves human companionship and he does well with kids, but his enthusiasm makes him a better fit for older ones. He is house and crate trained and his leash skills, well, they are a work in progress. Jovi's favorite activities include running, playing in the kiddie pool and snuggling after a long day of play. This guys ideal match would be an experienced, patient and committed home that can provide structure and boundaries. Jovi needs an area to expend his bursts of Aussie energy, so a fenced yard is required. Once those bursts are expended, he's ready to snuggle in for a good book or a movie. Jovi is looking for a home where he can stretch out, soak up attention and claim his rightful spot on the couch. If you’re searching for a playful, affectionate dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Jovi is ready to be your guy. ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** Adoption fee is $300 All dogs are fully vetted before leaving rescue (vaccinations, spay or neuter and microchip). Rock-A-Bully and Friends Rescue is based in Houston, TX. Transport is available to select cities in the Northeast, Midwest and Pacific Northwest for an additional fee. Thank you for considering adoption! ***TO SUBMIT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION: Adoption Application is linked towards the top and further down on this page (https://www.rockabullyaf.org/adoption-application.html) OR Visit our website: WWW.ROCKABULLYAF.ORG ⭐️ Please notify your VET & REFERENCES and authorize them to speak with us regarding your application. NOTE: Please practice the 3-3-3 Rule when bringing home a new furry family member. Adopted dogs need patience and understanding as they decompress in a new home with new people and a new schedule. Story
Willow is an 8 year old pure bred Australian Shepherd. We have had her since she was two months old. She is spayed, up to date on shots and house trained. She walks well on a leash and loves to ride in a truck, buggie or car. Also likes golf carts. She gets along with cats and is good with older kids. Not little kids though. She likes to herd them. We have a corgi and they hate each other. They have gotten into some good fights and I just can’t deal with it anymore. She has never been aggressive to anyone or anything other than our Corgi. Willow would do great in a home as the only dog. She is a great partner in crime and is very loyal. She does well with my senior dog who is a boy, it’s just females because they fight for the alpha position. This only started about a year ago so I am not sure what happened. If anyone can help rehome her that would be amazing. We hate to have to do this but I have to look out for her quality of life and find her a home where she can thrive.

Story
Oaklee is 6 years old. I got her from a friend 3 years ago. She is house trained, knows how to sit, shake, and play dead especially with a treat in your hand! She is super sweet. She is good with older kids, and gets super hyped up when playing around. She loves cuddles and will sleep right next to you if you let her. I am looking for a home that will love her and treat her right. She needs more attention than I can give her right now with my busy schedule. She also needs a bigger yard to run around in.

Very playful and happy dog. Very rarely barks. Would do well in home with other dogs. Does not run and can enjoy the front yard. Comes with a dog house if you need one, and crate. She loves sleeping in the crate. My housing situation changed suddenly and can not take with me. Pet insurance can be transferred.

Story
We purchased Loki from a breeder in Canton, TX as a puppy and he is now 6 years old. He is a very intelligent and has more energy than our family can handle. We have 1 other dog and they get along great, we also have exposed him to another dog friend of ours and has had no issues. He does great on walks, although he gets very excited and tends to bark a lot for the first few minutes. He does respond to general commands like sit and stay. We have to put him up when kids are running and playing as his natural instinct to herd kicks in, he will chase them and bark loudly. We have been unable to get his shots up to date due to his anxiety and temperament with the Vet. He doesn’t do well with strangers, specifically males. Overall Loki is a good dog, just not a good fit for our family in our current state.
