Hazel came to OPA from a local shelter as a very skinny stray momma with two adorable pups, Snowball and Diva. She knows basic commands like sit and no. She is very quiet unless you see an animal on your walk or you’re not taking her out to go potty.  She does have two different color eyes.  My husband and I both thinks she’s a fantastic dog and loves to be pet. Hi there, I’m King! I’m an incredibly sweet guy and am excited about finding my forever home. While my past is unknown, my foster mom doesn't think it was a very happy one. I can be a little timid at first but I warm up quickly to my sweet, playful self! I’m potty-trained and crate-trained. I LOVE going outside on walks or runs and I am awesome on a leash - I rarely pull unless I am trying to say "hi" to another dog. My foster mom thinks I’ll do best with someone who has a yard or access to outdoor space where I can run around! I am still learning basic commands and would really appreciate a patient teacher! I do great with other dogs and I LOVE to snuggle! I can’t wait to meet you!!

Story
Guppy was born February 8, 2022! My sister rescued her from someone keeping her chained to a tree. She was born completely deaf but that doesn’t stop her from living just as happy as any other dog. We only notice it when we need to get her attention but it’s easy to work around that. She loves having kitties as roommates but doesn’t need to interact much at all! We took her in when my sister realized her kids were very allergic. She also was incredibly anxious with the older kids. We have since had a child of our own and he is now on the move. She is sadly becoming more anxious despite boundaries and keeping them separate. We will be moving to a small apartment soon and it will be even harder to keep them separate. As hard as it is to rehome her, she deserves to be in a stress free home! She loves her sniff walks more than anything! She can interact with other dogs but she has strict boundaries with them. She loves being an indoor dog and loves all the attention she can get!
