Story
Meet Lulu! Lulu is a sweet 3–4 year old Australian Shepherd with beautiful brown and tan coloring. This gentle mama dog is still learning about life and how to trust people, but she is incredibly affectionate and will truly blossom in the right home. She’s calm and quiet by nature, with a low energy level and medium exercise needs. Lulu is food-motivated and responds well to positive training. She can be a bit timid and shy at first, and she’s protective/territorial, so she’ll do best with patient owners who can help her feel safe. A securely fenced yard (6-foot recommended) would be ideal. Lulu is good-natured and gets along well with large dogs and female dogs. Please note that she can be food-aggressive, so careful management around mealtime is important. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal girl who’s ready to bond deeply once she feels secure, Lulu could be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Tyrcon is the sweetest mini Aussie this side of the Mississippi! Affectionate, calm/gentle, goofy, patient, playful, resilient, snuggly, and a little timid/shy. He would happily spend half the day licking his person and cuddling up for snuggles. He enjoys going outside to sniff and bask in the sunshine, is fully house-trained (no accidents after his first two days out of the shelter), eats and sleeps through the night in his crate, is respectful on leash with no pulling, and is very quiet—rarely barking, and only with short, soft barks when he does. Tyr absolutely loves puppies and is incredibly tolerant and patient of them crawling all over him. He also loves playing chase or tag with dogs his size. He may get nervous of big dogs and typically leaves the area so he can feel more comfortable. He is nervous of new people but chooses to quietly excuse himself and sleep in his crate when company is over; once they leave, he bounces back out ready to snuggle again. He does not chase chickens even when off-leash and does not notice a house rabbit. He is good for nail trims, finds baths a little scary, and is a quiet, allowing gentleman at the vet. Tyrcon enjoys the life of luxury and typically lounges in “his” recliner most of the day. Tyrcon is a fabulous dog—his adopter will be getting a true gem who just wants a peaceful home and lots of love.

Story
Meet Zoe Zoe is a beautiful 4-month-old Aussie/Border Collie. She's as gorgeous on the inside as she is on the outside. Zoe has a sweet personality that's a blend of confidence and shyness. Loud or unfamiliar noises can make her a little unsure, and she sometimes seeks out cozy hiding spots like a clothes basket or underneath a chair on the porch until she feels comfortable. But when she's out in the yard playing with other dogs, you'll see her confident, playful side shine. This affectionate little girl loves to cuddle and be close to her people. She just needs a patient family willing to give her the time and encouragement to build confidence on her own as she grows beyond her dependence on her siblings. Once she feels safe, her loving personality really begins to blossom. Zoe is very treat motivated, making training fun and rewarding. She does well in her crate, and is making great progress with potty training, although she still has the occasional accident—as expected for a puppy her age. She's not much of a barker and will need continued leash training as she learns about the world. With a little patience and a lot of love, Zoe is going to grow into a gorgeous, devoted companion who will reward her family with endless affection and loyalty. She's ready to find the forever home where she can truly bloom.

Story
Meet Pip! Pip is a stunning 4-month-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix with a soft, fluffy coat and a heart that's every bit as beautiful as her looks. This sweet girl has a gentle personality that's a wonderful mix of playful curiosity and quiet sensitivity. New or unexpected noises can make her a little cautious, and she may retreat to a favorite safe spot—like a laundry basket or under a porch chair—until she feels comfortable again. Once she's relaxed, though, her fun-loving side comes to life as she happily romps around the yard with other dogs. Pip is incredibly affectionate and loves spending time with her people. She enjoys snuggling close and soaking up attention, but she'll thrive with a family that understands she may need a little extra time and reassurance as she learns to navigate the world on her own. As her confidence grows, so does her sweet, loving personality. Smart and eager to please, Pip is highly motivated by treats, making her a great candidate for continued training. She settles nicely in her crate and is doing very well with potty and house training.  She's generally quiet, isn't much of a barker, and is just beginning to learn good leash manners. Pip is looking for a patient, loving family that will help her continue building confidence while celebrating all the wonderful qualities she already has. In return, she'll become a loyal, devoted companion who will fill your home with love, laughter, and plenty of puppy cuddles. If you're looking for a best friend to grow up alongside your family, Pip may be the perfect match.

Story
Baby is an 8 1/2 year old (as of Aug 2026) border collie mix. Her owner, a close friend of mine, passed away unexpectedly, so I took her in. Unfortunately, I have several other dogs, and Baby has shown signs of aggression towards other animals, especially around food. She needs a home where she is the only pet, no other dogs, cats, or other free-roaming house pets. Overall though, she has a wonderful personality. Very obedient and so sweet, she’s always grinning and loves attention! She gets so excited when I come home or when guests come over. She’s amazing with people, children and adults, and has never shown any signs of aggression towards a human. She takes Zenrelia daily to manage skin allergies, but aside from that she is a very healthy dog and will surely brighten up your home with her smile!
