I hate to be in this situation, but I have a set of sibling 2.5 year old purebred mini Aussie sheps; the male is names Luke (listed here) and the female is Leia. They are fixed, microchipped, very cuddly and energetic, plays great w kids, no shed, are crate trained, and all that great dog stuff. My wife has wanted mini aussies her whole life but found out quickly she is really allergic even on meds. We both work demanding, time consuming jobs and with two kids under 3 get our attention first and it is hard to be good owners to the dogs in this set up. We had cats first and now the cats just stay in one room and are scared. Our life isn’t fair to the dogs, cats, or kids. Luke loves being outside, Leia loves the inside, and they both just want to chill with humans. I got them training for manners and house training but because of having a newborn and work, I never stayed on the training so it fell off. Otherwise, they are perfect! Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 35 pounds. She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier. Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home. She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate. She is not leash trained but is trying to improve. We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. THIS GUY! Wow! He has come a LONG away since he's been in our care. He was scheduled for euthanasia simply because they were out of room. He and his brother Happy. So a Good Samaritan pulled them both and spared them from certain death. They have been amazing, becoming very social because they have been attending doggy daycare everyday and receiving hands in one on one professional training! Captain is approx 7-8 months old. He's shy at first around new things but warms up quickly. He is kennel trained and house trained and it goes without saying he's dog friendly since he attends doggy daycare! He's super easy to get along with just needs a patient family because he is a bit shy at first around new things. He's with Kip and Michele in their home in Memphis, Tn. Once an application has been submitted and approved Kip, who has been working with Captain one on one for several months, will speak to you and tell you all about him.
