Meet Marley!Marley, AKA "Margot Robbie," is a stunning DNA tested Australian Shepherd / American Staffordshire terrier mix, with an estimated birthday of 02/08/2024.  She came to the Mission when her prior family was no longer able to take care of her, as she displayed some rambunctiousness and general bowling ball-like behaviors. With the provided structure in her foster home, she has learned to respect boundaries and to be a better steward of people's personal space, however she does need occasional reminders and consistent guidance or she will revert back to attempting to own the show.  Marley is excellent in her crate, is leash trained, and rides well in the car. She is somewhat socially awkward but good with other dogs, and to safe with children who can take a little bit of bumping around. She cannot cohouse with cats or any small creatures, and she may be over the top with small dogs as well at first.  She has an adorable stub tail and a lot of energy and athletic ability. She would love a family who wants to keep her included in the day to day activities of life and take her to do fun things like hiking and biking. So far, Marley has completed two rounds of scent work classes and has really excelled at the task of Nosework.  Marley comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormd. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes her leash, collar, ID tag, harness, a sample of the food she has been eating and her medical records. Story
Kodi is ten months old and we acquired him from a breeder in Idaho. We are both in our late seventies and want Kodi to have a forever home with active adults, older children and other dogs to play with. He has been to puppy training and did well. We would very much prefer that he go to someone who has experience with Australian Sheperds..A large, fenced yard and time to play catch or frisbee or long walks or runs. He is young and in the reactive stage, but very devoted to his owners. He would herd small children so older children are better. We are working on his enthusiastic greetings, jumping up. He knows down, sit, stay, touch, and recall if he isn't focused on something more interesting than us. He is very much a velcro dog, true to breed. He uses a dog door and and loves to be outside with you. He still has the occasional zoomies and will bark at other dogs when on his walks on a leash.

Shadow is a wonderfully kind boy, very good with kids. We have had him since he was a puppy. He doesn't jump on people, is gentle, and loves to hang out with the family. He is used to being a farm dog so would be great with some space to roam but would make a fantastic pet for any family willing to exercise or walk him. He has lots of energy and love to give. Our son has a long term illness which precludes us from keeping him at this time so we are hoping to find a kind and loving family to adopt him.

Story
Bandit is a neutered male mini Australian Shepherd/cattle dog mix. He is 6 months old and was purchased by a young couple from the breeder. He moved here from Mesa, Arizona with them and they could only find an apartment for housing. A young stock dog does not do well in an apartment! He needs a big space to run and play in, preferably a fenced yard and another dog. He lived in a very small apartment with this couple. Their 2-year-old toddler and she was pregnant with their second child and put on to bed rest. He was spending up to 16 hours a day in his crates. She knew this was wrong and reached out to us to surrender him to find him a better fit. He is housebroken crate trained, walks well on a leash and is learning some serious social skills here and rescue! He thinks it's a great time playing outside in the yard with the other dogs. He's quite unique looking and has the most amazing ears! I don't expect him to get much bigger than 25 lb beings that he's already 19 lb at 6 months of age
