Lottie is a toy Australian Shepherd that we adopted from Portland Oregon when she was nine weeks old. She is now around seven months old however she’s not up-to-date on her shots and has not been spayed yet. She’s very well mannered and very sweet and incredibly easy to train. She is the most eager to learn dog I have ever met. She is also very fantastic with children and other dogs. She has endless energy and absolutely loves to play. I am very sad to part with her however we are moving and we cannot take her with us. We are hoping a family can take this responsibility and this sweet girl off of our hands.

Welcome Ohana to Murci's Mission Animal Rescue!  Ohana comes to Murci's Mission as a transfer from an independent rescuer in cental Washington. Ohana was originally live trapped with a group of dumped dogs in Moses Lake and has since been warming up to household life. Ohana is about 52lbs with an estimated birthdate of 12/19/2023. She may be slightly reserved when first meeting new people and dogs, but is safe with dogs, cats, and children as long as she's given a few weeks to settle in and feel secure. She is curious and submissive, loving to investigate things at her own pace, give kisses, and get her belly rubbed. She is athletic and biddable and has a ton of potential to go in any direction as she is given opportunity to learn and trust in a new guardian.  Ohana is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained. She is non destructive in the household when loose, and rides fine in the car. Once she's comfortable with her new family, she bonds deeply and loves to be with her person.  Ohana can escape a six foot fence, but has no intent to actually run away. She just wants to find and stick with her family. For this reason, she's not suitable to spend stretches of time unattended outside. Ohana has also displayed mild seperation anxiety. Ohana comes spayed, vaccinated, mircochipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes a leash, collar, harness, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and a consultation with a behaviorist to get both parties off to a good start. Meet Oz! 🐾 Oz is a sweet 6-year-old Australian Shepherd, who is a little funny looking, and requires an adult-only home. Due to his breed and unique attitude, Oz needs a family that understands boundaries and how to respect a working dog. He wants a loving home and a boss at the same time. Oz is affectionate in his own way and is very communicative about his boundaries. He does not enjoy having his face handled all the time and he will let you know when he is uncomfortable. Though he has some sensitivities, he is very affectionate and loves his butt scratches. He cannot live with other dogs or children due to behaviors in past homes. He also has food-guarding behavior and will require an experienced home that can safely manage his meals and understand the importance of giving him space around food. Oz would do best with someone who has experience with Australian Shepherds and is prepared to work patiently with a dog who has some challenges. With the right environment, structure, understanding, and respect for his boundaries, Oz has the opportunity to form a strong bond with his people.

We do know I’m NOT a fan of dominant female dogs, so absolutely no dominant females for me. If I have a doggy friend, they’ll need to be respectful of my boundaries and more submissive. My friends are still learning how I do with cats, children, and other dogs. I’ll need a home with lots of patience, guidance, and understanding while I settle in and show you who I really am! 💕
