Story
After a lot of thought and consideration, we have decided to begin exploring other options for our dog, Baloo. We adopted him last June and he has been the sweetest addition to our family. He has been beyond spoiled since moving in with us and loves to snuggle with our daughter. He completed some training at Sit Means Sit and has made a lot of progress. He still needs a lot of work on his leash training and can be very reactive. He can also be hesitant of new people. He loves a good car ride and playing in the yard. His previous owner said he lived with a cat and they got along well. We currently have a bunny and Baloo was curious at first and has since became close.Baloo is the perfect match for an active home looking for a joyful, playful companion. He loves to play guard dog and always lets us know when someone is at the door. This is such a tough decision, however, our current family situation has changed and we are looking for a wonderful family to take him on.

Story
Marley is a DNA tested Australian Shepherd American Staffordshire terrier mix with an estimated birthday of February 8th 2024. She came to the Mission when her prior family was no longer able to take care of her. Marley is crate trained, leash trained, and rides fine in the car. She is somewhat socially awkward but good with other dogs, and to safe with children who can take a little bit of bumping around. She cannot cohouse with cats or any small creatures, and she may be over the top with small dogs as well at first.  She has an adorable stub tail and a lot of energy and athletic ability. She would love a family who wants to keep her included in the day to day activities of life and take her to do fun things like hiking and biking.  Marley comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormd. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes her leash, collar, ID tag, harness, a sample of the food she has been eating and her medical records. To be considered to adopt comma please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application. Thank you for checking out our girl.  ##2572652##

Story
Kodi is ten months old and we acquired him from a breeder in Idaho. We are both in our late seventies and want Kodi to have a forever home with active adults, older children and other dogs to play with. He has been to puppy training and did well. We would very much prefer that he go to someone who has experience with Australian Sheperds..A large, fenced yard and time to play catch or frisbee or long walks or runs. He is young and in the reactive stage, but very devoted to his owners. He would herd small children so older children are better. We are working on his enthusiastic greetings, jumping up. He knows down, sit, stay, touch, and recall if he isn't focused on something more interesting than us. He is very much a velcro dog, true to breed. He uses a dog door and and loves to be outside with you. He still has the occasional zoomies and will bark at other dogs when on his walks on a leash.

Story
Shadow is a wonderfully kind boy, very good with kids. We have had him since he was a puppy. He doesn't jump on people, is gentle, and loves to hang out with the family. He is used to being a farm dog so would be great with some space to roam but would make a fantastic pet for any family willing to exercise or walk him. He has lots of energy and love to give. Our son has a long term illness which precludes us from keeping him at this time so we are hoping to find a kind and loving family to adopt him.

Story
Desmond is my sisters dog, she found him being given away for free as a puppy, and funded getting him all his shots and whatnot. She has moved and cannot take him. He sits, stays, lays, comes when called and walks on a leash with no pulling. He is shy, but an absolute sweetheart. Would love to find him a farm home or an outdoorsy person, he will follow without a leash even.
