Story
Kai was adopted from a shelter as a puppy. Her owner put her through puppy training, obedience training and then therapy dog training because she had health issues so felt the need to have a constant support animal. Kai did great in and with all of this. Shortly after they experienced a house fire. Then the owner received devastating news about her health. Terminal cancer. She decided it would be best to go live with her sister but that meant she couldn’t keep her beautiful dog. Since we had done all the training we volunteered to find Kai a new home. Unfortunately we have not had much luck. So the search is still on. Posting her for adoption is definitely not what I had in mind but it’s been a few months and she needs a home.

Story
Cheeto is a lovely little ball of fluff brought to us through a collaboration with Double J Dog Ranch with the rest of his litter   Cheeto is a Minature American Shepherd and while small he is expected to exhibit the active, athletic, and friendly nature of his breed. Cheeto is pushy and intense and while he has basic skills like crate training, leash training, and basic obedience, he loves to push the limits and needs a steady guide who applies structure to his life or he will run the show in no time.   He has a profound overbite and will come with a sponsored recheck at 8-12 months along with any necessary dental work.  Cheeto and his whole litter are truly beloved to their caretakers and we are seeking households who are looking to add a new family member who will be an inclusive part of life in all ways, properly trained and able to be a functioning and happy member of the household for their entire life.  We expect he will mature at 20-35lbs and will be versatile, able to relax at home, go for adventures, or participate in dogsports like agility and barnhunt.  Cheeto comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $300 and includes leash, collar, ID tag, medical records, food sample, and a mandatory free training lesson with our partner trainer to help both parties ace the new partnership. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  ##2721781##

Story
Rookie is a 3-year-old Black Tri Australian Shepherd looking for an active home with someone experienced with the breed. He loves a good game of fetch and already knows sit, stay, and come. Rookie has lived with other dogs but did not get along with another male dog, so a meet-and-greet is recommended for any potential canine companions. He is noise reactive and will do best in a calm home that can provide consistency, structure, and continued training. Rookie has never been around children, fowl, or livestock, so his behavior around them is unknown. If you're an Aussie lover looking for a smart, energetic companion, Rookie could be the perfect fit!

Story
Pepper is your classic lovable puppy — sweet, cuddly, silly, and guaranteed to keep you smiling! 💕 But don’t let that innocent face fool you… this girl can go from snuggle bug to SHARK MODE in about 0.2 seconds. 😂🦈 Pepper is a playful, energetic puppy who is still learning that not everything is a chew toy and not every moment is playtime! She’ll need someone who is ready to help her learn all those important puppy basics, including appropriate play, bite inhibition, manners, potty training, and the joys of being a well-behaved pup. She’s incredibly smart and eager to learn, and with some consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she’s going to make an amazing companion. ❤️ If you’re looking for a puppy who will make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and happily curl up with you once she’s worn herself out, Pepper might be your girl! 🥰 Just be prepared for the occasional cuddle → zoomies → SHARK ATTACK → cuddle cycle. 😂🐶 Pepper is looking for a family who understands that puppies are a lot of work, but also knows that watching them grow into the wonderful dogs they’re meant to be is so worth it! 🐾

Story
Meet Lida! If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate velcro shadow who thinks you are the absolute center of the universe, Lida is your girl. She is a sweet, lower-energy (but still loves to play) dog who has never met a person she did not fall in love with. Her favorite hobby is being right by your side, soaking up cuddles, and showering you with love. She is friendly with all people and dogs, and all she wants to do is hang out with her favorite humans. She has all the manners, is potty trained, great on walks, and knows basic commands. She loves to please and is always highly attentive, listens well, and settles in nicely once she knows a routine. Lida's love for people runs very deep - so deep that being left alone is very hard for her right now. When left monitored or unassisted, her separation anxiety takes over: she will vocalize loudly, can panic in kennels and yards, and has been known to chew and break containment and run off just to find people. The good news is that even if she slips out, she always goes to find people and never runs away from them. In her foster home, Lida is making noticeable progress, and with structure and patience, her anxiety is softening and her listening skills improving every day. She would thrive in an environment with someone who understands her struggles and can offer a secure, loving home where she will feel safe and grow in her confidence. With the right time and understanding, Lida will make the most devoted and loving companion you could ever ask for. If you're interested in Lida just text her foster mom Tessa at (509) 939-1940

Story
Meet Peanut, a vibrant, free-spirited wild child who brings a whirlwind of pure, unfiltered joy wherever she goes! Affectionately nicknamed by the foster family as their "little alien" for her looks and her hilarious, out-of-the-world personality, she is a puppy with a heart full of love and endless appetite for fun. Peanut lives life at full throttle and is usually the last one in the litter to slow down. Whether she's finding a little innocent trouble to get into or zooming around the yard, her signature move is running straight up to you, placing her little paws on her face, and showering you with a thousand sweet kisses. Fun fact: she was the smallest of her litter but now has surpassed the two others. Despite her adventurous and crazy spirit, Peanut is remarkably attentive and deeply attached to her humans. She loves following you wherever you go and will always make a point to pause her wild adventures, run back to check on your, and make sure you are still nearby before diving right back into action. She has so much life, light, and love to offer, and she is looking for a fun, active home that will truly cherish her one-of-a-kind spirit and laugh along with all her antics. If you want to meet Peanut text her foster mom Tessa at (509) 939 1940
