The adoption fee is $300 and includes a sample of the food they've been eating, leash, collar, ID tag, and their medical records. Story
We acquired Blue from a respected/reputable purebred australian toy shepherd breeder in California around 3 years ago. The bad: My wife and I have trained 3-4 dogs between us but never had a challenge like this one. We've never had issues house training any if our dogs until this one. For whatever reason he needs a lot of extra work. It could be due to being in a multi-dog home but we're not sure. He doesn't do well with strangers at all, would make a great guard dog but wouldn't put it past him to take a nip at anyone who doesn't live in the same house (even if he has seen them before). He's never drawn blood or seriously attacked anyone but he's obviously got herding dog instincts. The good: He's good with our kids and us, very playful, loves to go on walks. Loves attention. Would be a phenomenal ranch dog if he has room to run/exercise. Is extremely intelligent (though admittedly stubborn) and obviously is very loyal to his owners.

These pups are in Spokane, Washington too!

WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process.   ##2302514##
