Story
BORN JULY 29, 2025: I got her in September off gooddog.com and thought the breeder was reputable. I purchased initially under the guise that I would make her a therapy dog for my daughter who has level 3 autism. She is great with my daughter occasionally too excited for her at which point I would separate them. I kept her on lead full time up until a month ago. Now she gets more free rein around the house. She does not tear up the house or objects she is not supposed to. The issue I have is she has an issue with resource guarding, mainly with things she finds outside now and VERY back of the pack oriented so she is afraid of everything. I have socialized her ALOT I am a SAHM and have lots of free time for it but so I am absolutely devastated, i have put so much effort into all this but I feel she needs a more experienced handler for the level of issues she has displayed. she is not fixed yet. I was waiting until she had her first heat

Story
Richard is a goofy, playful guy who brings so much personality wherever he goes! He loves to play, gets super excited for walks, and will happily bounce his way into your heart. After he’s had his fun, he’s all about cuddles and soaking up attention—this boy truly loves his people. Richard is house trained and has done wonderful with children. He’s been around kids and has always been gentle and affectionate with them, making him a great family companion in the right home. Richard would do best as the only pet—he isn’t a fan of living with other dogs and will chase cats, so a single-pet home is a must. He’s also quite the “alarm dog” and will let you know when something is happening outside—nothing slips past him! 😆 Richard can be protective of his people and may show some territorial behaviors between adults in the home, sometimes trying to keep one person to himself. Because of this, he’s looking for a home that understands boundaries and is willing to help him continue working on feeling secure and sharing attention appropriately. He has never been a concern around children, but he will do best with adopters who can confidently manage and guide him in adult interactions. With the right structure, patience, and understanding, Richard has so much love and fun to offer. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate dog who will keep you laughing and be your loyal companion, Richard might be your guy.

Story
LOVES TO SNUGGLE AND GET OODLES OF ATTENTION Est. DOB 3/25/24, weight 40 lbs. This young girl Calliope is very sweet and playful, and has energy to spare! Her foster home has several dogs and Calliope wants to play -- er -- wrestle with all of them. She loves to go on walks, meet new people, play with her stuffed animal toys, and snuggle on the couch for movie time. Calliope was abandoned in the parking lot of a PetSmart but fortunately, her future foster mom worked at the store and scooped her right up! Calliope knows Sit and Wait, and likes to sleep in her crate at night. Calliope would love a home where she can get lots of attention and exercise as well as have a canine brother or sister to play with. Is that you? HOPE ID D24-1116-0045 Calliope is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $600 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas.
