Story

Cadence and her three siblings were found abandoned, left in a box out in the cold. After being examined by the vet their age was identified as 7-8 weeks old, born October 2023. We do not know her breed(s) but based on the attached weight projection chart we believe she will be a medium sized dog (35-40ish pounds) when fully grown. See photo on the scales-these were taken upon entry to the rescue. Cadence was the largest puppy in the litter. Cadence is very treat motivated and eager to learn. She knows wait, sit, down, place, high-five, spin and is working on sit up. She is crate trained-and will go in when instructed to do so and fully potty trained. Cadence is confident, playful, sensitive and cuddly. She is currently living with dogs and cats. She would do great in a home with a fenced yard and a person or family that is committed to her continued growth and development and will cherish her for her lifetime. Rehome a fun and warm Princess who loves to talk. Princess is leash and leashless trained and loves to go on car rides, long walks and to cuddle. She is a good-natured and loving Aussie Shiba, a cross between a Miniature Australian Shepherd and a Shiba Inu. Her parent breeds come from unique backgrounds. The Australian Shepherd originated as a herding breed. Today, this breed often performs in agility competitions. They most often fit in best with an active family. Known today for its cuteness, Shiba Inus once hunted powerful game like wild boar, it is considered one of the oldest dog breeds in the world, dating back to 6000–7000 BC. The breed's ancestors likely came to Japan with early immigrants, and archaeologists have found remains of dogs similar in size to Shibas in sites inhabited by the Jomon-jin people from 14,500 BC to 300 AD. This crossbreed is unlikely to be found for adoption. She is very smart, and loyal.

He is happiest when he is with his people and other dogs, for this reason, we will require Edwinn goes to a home with another confident dog to continue giving him guidance and reassurance. Connor is ready for a home of his own! This boy is was born December 2018 and is a Border Collie mix. Connor struggles with insecurities and has a hard time meeting new people-but let me tell you that once you’ve made his “friends list” it’s for life! He will never let you down or leave you alone 😂😂 Connor will require a home with another confident canine companion, he does best with canine friends in his home to show him what’s okay. While he currently lives with dog savvy cats, he may not do well with new feline friends. Connor is not a dog that will ever enjoy going to dog parks, outdoor eateries, etc. That's not his scene. He prefers being with his family at home. He's an introvert's dream dog! 😉 He needs a calmer home with structure and routine, for this reason, a home without young children is best. Connor is potty, leash, and crate trained. He is still working on basic commands like sit, down, etc. He loves chew toys and treats. He will play tug-o-war but hasn't mastered fetch. Meet Stevie Nicks! She is a female Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier mix born approx. May 2017. Here is a little bit about her: she came into our program injured and wandering in a field. It appeared she had been attacked by another animal. Since that time she’s come a long way baby! She knows basic commands such as sit and shake, and is highly intelligent. She would do well with an owner who will continue with her training so she can be the best dog she can be. She can be talkative and is other dog selective. Cats are unknown.
