Meet Noble! Noble doesn’t see or hear the world the way we do—but he feels it with every ounce of his soul. Although he is deaf and mostly blind, it doesn’t slow him down. This little guy is a ball of pure joy, chasing shadows, zooming around the yard, and following his favorite humans like the most loyal sidekick ever. Life with Noble is full speed, full fun, and full love. He’s a social butterfly who plays nicely with other dogs, respects his feline friends, and absolutely adores kids. Noble is crate trained and almost fully house trained. Could you be the one he’s been waiting to follow home? Noble is fostered in West Bend, WI. To apply to adopt, visit tailsofhopewi.org. Story
Meet Nettie 💕 Nettie is a playful, affectionate Aussie puppy with a heart as big as her personality. She is visually and hearing impaired, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. Nettie navigates her world incredibly well and does a great job following her humans and dog friends wherever the fun is happening. This sweet girl absolutely adores people and loves being part of whatever is going on around her. Whether it’s playing with toys, wrestling with her dog friends, exploring the yard, or going for walks, Nettie is always ready for the next adventure. She is currently learning basic commands using hand signals and lots of treats and praise. So far she’s working on sit, stay, and down, and she’s catching on quickly thanks to her great focus and eye contact. Nettie is also doing well learning to walk on a leash and enjoys getting her puppy energy out playing both inside and outside. Nettie is fully potty trained and will go to the door when she needs to go out. She also does great with handling, even letting her foster family trim her nails with no issues. She has shown no aggressive behaviors, including around food, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. One extra perk of Nettie being deaf? When she sleeps, she really sleeps. Loud noises, barking dogs, vacuums, and busy households don’t bother her at all. Training with hand signals works beautifully for her, and resources and support for sign-language-style training can be shared with her future family. Nettie is a joyful, loving pup who will make an amazing addition to a family or couple ready to welcome a very special girl. She’s sweet, fun, and full of love, and she can’t wait to find her forever home. 🐾💖 Nettie is fostered in Lake Tomahawk, WI. To apply to adopt, visit tailsofhopewi.org. Please note donations using the SPONSOR ME tab on PetFinder will not go to Tails of Hope-WI.

Story
Hello, my name is Shilo! I'm a 6-year-old female. My paperwork lists me as a border collie/heeler mix, but my friends at CRHS think I also have some german shepherd in me. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Loyal, Smart, Curious Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: Everyone at the shelter says I'm the sweetest girl! Sometimes I'm a little shy when meeting new people, but once I get to know you we'll be friends forever. I'm very smart so it shouldn't take me too long to learn new commands! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6/10 Housetraining Status: I am housetrained! I should do well in a home: Any children in my potential home will need to be 12 years or older. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Being with my humans and eating yummy snacks. Things I need work on are: I could use some work on my weight loss. I also could brush up on my basic commands and leash walking. Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: N/A Daycare Status: N/A My adoption fee is: $300 Training Requirement if applicable: N/A *If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
