Story
Meet Izzy! Izzy is approximately 1 year old and is thought to be a possible Australian Shepherd/Heeler/Terrier-type mix. At a tiny little 16 lbs, she's small in stature but big in personality and ready to find a family who loves the mighty minis! Izzy is perfect for someone who wants a travel-sized adventure buddy. She has lots of fun energy and is adventurous and curious. She absolutely loves people and has a very social personality. She's highly intelligent, so an owner who can continue with her training will also be beneficial for her! She already knows basic commands and a few tricks, but she's eager to learn more. Izzy is mostly potty trained but does still 'submissive piddle', which most dogs grow out of with age and confidence building. She should do well with crate training and patience so that she has time to learn the new potty routine. Because she's so young, we want her family to expect other behaviors that come with having puppies like chewing phases, mischievous tendencies, jumping/mouthing when excited, etc. So far, this little girl is bursting with love so we think she'll grow into a fantastic adult dog! She would love an owner who can include her in daily activities like walking, hiking, jogging, kayaking, backpacking, agility, and anything else that allows her to see the world! Izzy does well with kids & other dogs, but cats are unknown at this time and she may want to chase them, so it will depend on the experience & comfort level of her owners. We can't wait to see how much Izzy can blossom in a forever home! We are doing all meet n' greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after an adoption application has been generally approved: https://www.co.monroe.wi.us/home/showpublisheddocument/35564 Izzy will be spayed & fully vaccinated prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $240

Meet Mia!Mia is a true beauty with an even sweeter personality to match! This lovely girl will turn one year old in April and is ready to find a forever family to grow up with.Mia has been living as a farm dog, but with a consistent routine and guidance, she should transition nicely into home life. She’s a smart, adaptable girl who will thrive with structure and positive reinforcement. While her exact breed mix is unknown, Mia is believed to be a Bernese Mountain Dog/Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd blend. She has the fluffy coat and larger size of a Great Pyrenees or Bernese, paired with the energetic, playful spirit of an Australian Shepherd. Because of this, she’ll do best in an active home with plenty of space to run, explore, and burn off energy.Mia has lived with children and cats and has done well with both. She hasn’t had extensive exposure to other dogs beyond neighboring pups, but her interactions have been positive. Most of all, Mia is a people-lover! She’s incredibly social, friendly, and happiest when she’s with her humans. If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate, and energetic companion to join your adventures, Mia may be the perfect fit.

Story
Meet Nettie 💕 Nettie is a playful, friendly, and affectionate Aussie puppy with a heart as big as her personality. She is visually and hearing impaired, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. She navigates her world incredibly well, rarely bumping into things, and is excellent at following her humans and dog friends wherever the fun is happening. She absolutely adores kids and always wants to be right in the middle of the action and makes sure she’s not left out of anything she decides is important (or fun!) She loves playing with toys, wrestling with her dog friends, and going on long walks to burn off her happy puppy energy. Nettie is crate and house trained and does very well. One extra perk of Nettie being deaf? When she sleeps, she really sleeps — loud noises, barking dogs, vacuums, and busy households don’t bother her at all. She also makes excellent eye contact, which makes training with hand signals a great option. Resources and support for sign-language-style training would happily be shared with her future family. Nettie is a joyful, loving pup who is ready to bring laughter, cuddles, and endless affection to a home that will celebrate just how special she is. 🐾💖 Nettie is fostered in Alma, WI.
