Meet Flynn – The Beautiful Boy Who Loves with His Whole Heart
Flynn doesn't give his trust away instantly—but once you're his person, he's all in.
This beautiful boy can be shy and nervous when meeting someone new, especially in unfamiliar environments. Give him time to settle in and figure things out, though, and you'll discover an incredibly affectionate, goofy, energetic dog who wants nothing more than to be close to the people he loves.
And when we say close, we mean really close. Flynn considers himself a lap dog and has absolutely no concern for whether you're currently trying to get something done!

Flynn's Favorite Thing:
Being close to his person.
Flynn is a true Velcro dog. Once he bonds with you, he wants to be part of your world. He'll happily join you for an adventure and then climb directly into your lap when it's time to relax—whether he fits there or not.
His foster lovingly describes him as a "chonky lap dog" who can be hilariously invasive when you're trying to work. It's all done with love, of course.
An Active Dog with a Sensitive Heart
Flynn has very high energy and the drive you'd expect from a working-type dog. He's athletic, intelligent, food motivated, toy motivated, and eager to engage.
He would thrive with a family that understands that physical exercise is only part of the equation. Flynn also needs opportunities to use his brain through training, enrichment, sniffing, games, and other activities that give him a job to do.
At the same time, he's a sensitive boy.
New people, loud noises, and unfamiliar environments can make Flynn nervous or overwhelmed. He does best with slow introductions and people who won't push him before he's ready. His confidence continues to improve with positive exposure, and once Flynn feels safe, he bonds deeply.

Flynn's foster is not currently able to travel for meet-and-greets.
Flynn came into rescue from a shelter along with his two sisters. Now he's learning what it means to have stability, routine, and people he can depend on.
He's not necessarily going to show you his entire personality the moment you meet him. Flynn needs a little time.
But give him that time, and you'll meet an entirely different dog—the affectionate goofball who plays hard, loves deeply, wants a doggie friend, and believes the best seat in the house will always be directly on top of his favorite person.
