Story
Remy is a 3-year-old Aussie mix with a beautiful multi-colored coat & blue eyes. He is a shy boy & very cautious about new situations but with careful introductions & patience he does well. At the moment he walks well for short distances but as he is becoming more familiar with his surroundings, he does a little better each time. Remy currently lives with a variety of dogs with different personalities, & he gets along with everyone big or small. He has met the neighbor cat, & he mostly ignored him except for a little sideways glance. He loves to follow his foster brothers & sisters around & is learning a lot from them so a house with another dog is preferred. It takes him a bit to warm up to humans, but he is open with the people he has met of all ages & gets a little more comfortable every day. At the moment Remy is very quiet but his foster mom believes this is just his cautious side & once he feels safe, he will start to use his voice. Remy does well in a crate & loves a nice chew toy. Getting to know this beautiful boy is an investment that will definitely pay off in the end and with time he will become a wonderful family pet.DATCP# 483538

You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on May 16th and arrive on May 17th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 5/2/2025 Dog Name: Orion Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Aussie Mix Approximate Age: 3 months Approximate Weight: 13-15 lbs Litter Name: Star Constellations Litter Spay/Neuter Status: Not yet Neutered (too young) Description: Star’s sweet boys Orion, Lynx and Draco are ready to find their forever homes! They have so much personality and all just want to be loved, they will give you kisses and have their puppy eyes expression down already. These babies are very smart and play so well together, they love all people and will be very loyal companions! They each have very unique markings and very soft coats!   Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. May 4, 2025, 3:28 am
