Greetings, my name is Garth! I'm a 3-year-old male border collie mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, neutered, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Sweetheart, Smart, Playful Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I'm a loving guy who greets the world with a smile! I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take me too long to warm up to them. I'm super playful and love toys of all kinds, though I seem to favor balls. With that being said I am a hard chewer so I will need some strong toys! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6 or 7/10 Housetraining Status: I have been good at keeping my kennel clean, although it may take me some time to adjust to a new schedule. I should do well in a home: I will need to meet any dogs in my potential home before adoption. I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Playing with toys!!!! I love cuddling my humans and getting affection from them as well. Things I need work on are: I could use a little more work with my basic commands and leash walking. Hi, my name is Tucker! I am an 8 year old male. My paperwork lists me as an Australian Shepherd, but my friends at CRHS think I look more like a Cattle Dog/Beagle mix. Whatever I am, I'm 100% adorable! I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, microchipped, and soon to be neutered. 3 words that describe me: Affectionate, Playful, Talkative Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: Before I came to CRHS I lived with my previous owner in a truck. Understandably I was very nervous when first arriving, but I've been making great progress every single day and I'm much more comfortable now. With that being said, I still may take some time to get comfortable living in my new forever home. Once I know you I love getting affection and cuddling. I can be very vocal and have a lot to say at times, so I may not be the best apartment dog. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 4/10 Housetraining Status: I have been good at keeping my kennel clean, however it may take some time for me to adjust to the schedule in my new home. I should do well in a home: Given slow and calm introductions I should do well with children of all ages. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Despite my age I LOVE playing with toys (especially squeaky toys). Hi there, I'm Brutus! I'm an 8-year-old male Australian shepherd mix. I am current on my vaccines, and soon to be heartworm tested, neutered, and microchipped. I am a foster-to-adopt candidate. 3 words that describe me: Affectionate, Calm, Smart Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I was brought to CRHS after being found with my deceased owner. This has understandably been a rough change for me and I've had a hard time transitioning to shelter life. I'm still a little nervous around men but, I'm building my trust. I'm now living in a foster home and LOVING IT!!! My foster mom says that I'm smart, sweet and that I'm the best boy for her 5 year old son. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 4/10 Housetraining Status: My foster mom says I'm completely housebroken with a routine. I should do well in a home: kiddos of all ages. I am required to meet any and all dogs in the household. In my previous home I did not get along with the cats, so my new home will need to be cat free. Staff at CRHS recommend I be taken into foster-to-adopt before adoption, but it's not required. My favorite activities are: Relaxing in a calm environment, sitting with people I'm comfortable with, and learning new things.
