Meet Molly! Molly was turned in to a shelter in New Mexico as a stray with old injuries. She had a previously broken and then healed front "wrist" and hind leg. Due to the fact that she was not using her hind leg at all, the vets opted for amputation. She get around amazing on 3 legs about 80% of the time, and can do stairs and run around the yard no problem. The other 20% of the time, she will limit her own activity, and take an easy day with less running around. Her front leg does not seem to cause her any pain, and has been evaluated by a couple of different vets who do not think it will require any additional treatment. Since she is a "tripod" she will likely need joint and pain support as she ages.Molly's favorite activities are lounging and getting attention, running around the yard with other dogs, watching and chasing squirrels, and eating snacks. She is currently around 2 years old, around 45 lbs, and has had full bloodwork and xrays of her legs done. She is heartworm negative and has been very healthy in foster. Molly is good with dogs, kids, and all humans. Her adoption fee is $350 and she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Meet Maple, This stocky gal is looking for a new home. She is great with cats and dogs and has been good with livestock like chickens! She is a trusted companion and understands boundaries. She has been allowed to roam outside the kennel and doesn't get into trash or bother the other dogs in the house. Maple grew up on quite a lot of acreage and loves to go out and walk around. She is happiest when she is outside in nature; a farm isn't necessary for her in life, but time spent outside is a must. Maple waved us off after meeting our staff for the first time!
