SAGE is a beautiful and special female Egyptian Mau / Domestic Shorthair cat, 1 year in age. Sage is playful and curious. She loves exploring and appreciates her independence. We currently have her as our office cat. She is used to being around other cats and dogs, but we feel she will be happiest as the only cat in her future home. Sage has a funny personality, she loves rubbing her little body on everything. She adores receiving attention and affection. Sage is a happy and chill cat looking for a forever home where she can love and be loved. If you are not located near our rescue or if the drive is a problem for you, please still apply, as we bring animals out to as far as San Diego in order to bring them to their forever homes. Currently, we are driving animals far out on an as-needed basis! If an animal is posted from us, they are AVAILABLE, however we sometimes do already have an adopter in place to meet them - however, please apply directly ASAP to ensure you get considered to meet them! The independent rescuer was asked to help get the local strays fixed and save these 2 teenagers. We were more than happy to help! These poor little guys were so malnourished, sick and scared. So once there was space at our rescue, we picked them up! So CASSIE has known the street life for a very short time. Her and her brother have now been living a nice pampered life. The shelter decided to make her a barn cat and ear-tipped her. Well the kennel manager knew the she was too young and not feral. So he called us and we went running to get her. Now TEMPEST is ready for her FUREVER home. She is not a lap cat. But we can see in her eyes she wants to be. She loves to play with any cat that will play with her. She is curious and so sweet...the cat she intended to be. She is also great with all cats. Loves to wrestle and play with them. And will come look for pets now, especially if you got treats or can food! We know that in the proper environment with another friendly cat / kitten she will be AMAZING!!! The way to TEMPEST's heart is wet food. She will scream at you to hurry up!! TEMPEST really is becoming so much more happy and secure. Just look at her pictures!
